College experiences

I have chosen B.Tech in electrical engineering because I have personal interest in this field. The teachers are all very highly qualified and they have a very good knowledge in their respective fields. Teachers are very cooperative also. In our branch there are approximately 180 students and there are two sections.

Almost 70% of the students from our course got placed. The average salary package offered was 5.5 LPA. All the MNC and core companies visit our college for placements. You will get the job by the end of your 7th semester. Just focus a little more in the third year grades, clear your backlogs and be smart then you can crack it.

Students are eligible for placement from 6th semester onwards. Many good companies are came to college like TCS, L&T, Deloitte, Infosys, Microsoft and others. college's highest package is 44 package till now. After finished the degree one can go for higher studies or a govt. Jobs and in campus placement also

The fees for one semester in college main is Rs 34,900 in our branch and if you want to go to branches like cse or it then you will have to pay double this. There are also many states scholarship for different categories students. The placement of this college is very good with respect to other colleges in odisha

This college is situated in the main city bhubaneswar so the campus life is very good. There are organised many fests but tha main cultural fest name is X-tasy which is organised in the month of February-may and other technical fest is perception. There are many technical and cultural club present in the college.

There are available of hostel for both boys and girls. For boys the hostel seats are limited. They get the seat according to their rank but all girls get the hostel. There are two hostels for girls one is kasturba hall of residence and another one is kalpana chawla hall of residence. In khr there are two seated beds in one room but in kchr there are 3 . The hostels are very clean.

You have to qualify the jee main exam for college. There is one ojee counseling in the state of Odisha, you will have to fill up the form there .If you are from Odisha then you will get state reservation.
