Remarks

Overall i am completely satisfied with this college. A bit disappointed in terms of placements but i have one more year in this college and hope for some changes in this field. Rest everything right from the campus up to the teaching faculties are good enough.

Entrance Preview

There wasn't any entrance exam for getting admissions in this college. I scored 61% in my HSC boards which met the eligibility criteria of this college nd finally today am here.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum is not so difficult. Regular attendance in lecs and self studies will help you cope up with all the concept in the subjects. The syllabus is completely based on business management, statistics, mathematics , economic and concepts related to capital.

Internships Opportunities

No internships till date. College are planning to have internships soon. I just hope that internships comes in work in next few years. This would surely help us gaining deep knowledge about the subject in more easier manner.

Placement Experience

3

I am not aware about the past year placements but few months ago there were few companies like hexaware and Accenture who visited here and conducted their placements, 8 of them from our final year batch got selected. The selection ratio is not so good but that works on the knowledge that students have.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Being a government aided course the fee structure is quite affordable i.e just ₹3000 a year. The structure keeps on changing ever year but the tuition fees reamains the same only the difference is made in the other facility charge section.

Faculty

3.5

The facilities here are well qualified . Most on them are holding masters in commerce degree , some of them are CA's, some of them are even pursuing their pdf in their respective subjects. Faculties here are good and friendly in their nature, everready to help their students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is recommended for the students who want to pursue a career in the finance field or if someone who is looking to a course like CFA, this bachelors degree becomes handy. This course teaches you about the financial spectrum of the whole world and gives you an intricate understanding about different financial instruments and their relevance in the society. It teaches one of the most sought after skills in today's world, that is financial literacy. Still I think some of the subjects introduced under the NEP are completely irrelevant such as EVS and IKS. We as college students need to give quality time on some professional subjects, not that these subjects are not important but they need to be emphasised in the early classes. There are three internal exams of 10 marks each and 20 minutes for each paper. The end sem exam is of 30 marks for minor subjects and 60 marks for major subjects. Also I feel that the difficulty level is okay.

Remarks:

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.

Admission:

I entered college quite late like at the end of July. I got in on the basis of my 12th marks which were 85%. But if someone holds merit above 70% then you can easily get into MITWPU BCom program. You should apply for it beforehand and the merit lists will be declared around 2nd or 3rd week of June.
