Remarks

Osmania medical college is very good in all aspects and if you are in a dilemma about which college to choose,go for osmania medical college undoubtedly.

Entrance Preview

I entered this college through EAMCET examination. At my time, I secured state 6th rank. Then I had a small dilemma about which college to choose for my MBBS. Then I asked many doctors and my seniors out if which most of them advised Osmania medical college. In MBBS your study will be directly on patients and osmania has surplus number of patients your scope of knowledge about any disease will be no where in comparison with other medical colleges as most of other medical colleges will not have enough number of patients. Best part of my college is that during teaching, each student will be given a patient. in other medical colleges there r not many patients in a group of students will be given a patient) But it is not that easy to secure a seat in osmainia Medical College. You need to be in the real top rankers list in EAMCET Examination.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The fact that this course provides you a very dignitorial position in society attracts me the most into it. The financial benefits are also quite impressive. The curriculum extending for 5.5 years provides you all the required knowledge to practice as a general doctor in the country. There is a total of 19 subjects for 4.5 years in total. 1 year rotatory internship in various clinical department in affiliated hospital gives you very good clinical exposure also. The internship here is stipended by ?26000-/- per month. Every year mcc is renewing the syllabus according to to demands of indian medical system. Frequency of exams are quite adjustable upto rth year. 4th year is quite hectic and tiring with syllabus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is PRETTY big. Its really big, actually. Sometimes its hard to handle, because of its bulk, some of it is relevant some of it is not, in the clinical applications but you have to study that to jncrease your knowledge, while the exams are focused on a few important topics out of the curriculum, thoee topics are meant to be focused on, more as they carry more clinical importance than the others.
