Remarks

As it is always said that there are always good and bad sides of each and every thing so the same goes with the university and i don't think that i should be talking about the bad sides of the college but should focus on the good ones.

Entrance Preview

First of all there was a written test which was conducted by the college. Next was the counselling,after which interview was conducted and got admitted in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Basically i have not completed the course but till now i am really satisfied with the course,and enjoying a lot and learning many things out of the box. If we talk about the practical learning i have not seen such an good labs and the faculties too,and the teachings given by them.

Internships Opportunities

As far as my knowledge is concerned there is no internship which is being provided by the institute but what they believe is that internship should be taken after applying for some kind of test and not by paying the company for the internship.

Placement Experience

Highest package was = 24.00 lac. Average package was = 4.00 lac. Here there are ample no of companies which come for recruitment some are Microsoft,Amazon,Shop clues and many more.

College Events

The institute has conducted many events at state level as well as national level like the auditions of Mr&Mrs north India.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I don't think that i am paying more because i am getting more facilities then what i am paying and i thin it is really affordable to middle class family. Rs. 64,500 per semester.

Yes they provide with the scholarship and i am availing one. Yes the college provide with the loan and that too with 0% interest rate

Campus Life

yes the extracurricular activities are extremely good.

Hostel Facilities

I am basically a day scholar. hostel rooms are on sharing basis. talking about food it was excellent.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes here basically some sessions are conducted in which a student can discuss his/her problem with the vice chancellor of the university problem can be of any subject.

Faculty

Faculties are extremely qualified and experienced too that some are phd holder's and some are those who are having some years of teaching experience the student teacher ratio is also excellent

From the begning i was always into tech and computers i liked to make my school persentation on my pc and that's the main reason for taking the stream CSE . The curriculum makes you ready for thr real world application by providing classes for eveything that a student is facing problem. If you ask me for the suggestion then some teachers should change their tecahing methods so that they will help the student in a better way . Placement Experience:

after 3rd year or maybe in 6th semester many companies visited and very few visited both happens maintain your cgpa make your cgpa above 8 might be difficult but you might get adv highest or average doesnt matter then see how much package you getmaintain cgpa fill out the placement form also they charge 9000 in third year for your placement and dcpd trainign maybe - 50 percent placed well placement is poor after degree - internships job

Did some research and found that AI/Ml is quite popular around the globe and saw alot of future opportunity in this field. The msts were of 40 marks each with 60 mins to complete the exam and finals were of 60 marks with 3 hrs time limit. However student were allowed to leave the hall once half time is over.

Placement Experience:

In LPU placement process usually start from 6th semester onwards. Many good companies come to campus like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Amazon and few product based also. Some startups also visit. The no. of offers are quite large every year because batch size is big. Highest package I heard was around 40 LPA but that is very rare, only 1-2 students get. Average package is around 5–6 LPA for CSE branch. For other branches it is little bit low. Almost 80-85% students who are seriously preparing gets placement from college. College also provide placement training and soft skills classes which help in interviews.

A honest review

When I was finalizing my decision, I compared my choosen college with the others on various parameters such as faculty, infrastructure, ratings, reviews, placements and extra curricular activities and co curricular activities and most importantly affordability that is fee structure. I haven't applied to any other colleges other than CU itself. The admission process of my college is eligibility that is you have to pass class 12th for my course bpt. If you opt for masters then you have to present a degree of bachelors for admission. The exam accepted for admission here in cu in cuchd, cuet,etc. if you clear any of these exams with good grades then you can get easy admission here in Chandigarh University. The cut off marks depends on the university itself. But try to score good to get admission here. The overall admission process for me was smooth from starting to the end.
