First Year at MNIT

Course curriculum is so relevant .It provides theory lecture as well as lab also for almost all the subjects. faculty:student ratio is good and there are guest faculty also and qualification of most of the faculty (BE,MTech,Phd)is best. Most of the faculty has done their Phd from IITs.Term exam are not so hard and If a student can start studying before can get good CGPA(>7.5)

Internship opportunities are good in our college . Our college has Placement and Training cell for internship and placements . From 5th semester onwards students have opportunites for internships . ISRO DRDO provides internship opportunites . Our college students do projects with DRDO scientists .

Placements is good in compare to other Nits. In this year avg placements isof 13.4lpa companies suchas delliote , goldmansachs , JP Morgan , Airtel etc Highest placement is of 85lpa of cse student. Placement is about 82% . My plan is to get placement in tech company . But this year there is recession period so there is less package.

Fees structure is same as other nit peryear it is about tution fees-125000.hostel fees-64000. This college provides various scholarships for students such as fee remission for different income categories. There are about 30 different scholarship. loan process is also easy for students.

There are two fests Sphinx(techfest) and blitschlag(cultural fest) . Sphins is conducted in novenmber and blitschlag is in February . College has a big library contains a lot of books and journals of different subjects. There are about 160000 books in our library. Big classroom are big and nice . It contains AC ,Projectors etc and in some of the rooms there is mic system for teachers for louder voice. Our college has different pace for each sports . Our colleges also organise sports fest(MST). There are different clubs such as Think India LevelX MCsquare DIL etc .

Hostel facilty is good . For fresher students hostel provides 3 seater room . Room contains (2or4) fans , 3 almirah table chair bed and it contains enough space . It provide lan facility for internet . Mess faciltiy is ok . Food quality is ok but sometime due to rush by students service facility fails . On last day of month there is special meal . Registration facility is good We have to Provide details of money transfer and we can easilyget room.

This college gives admission on the basis of Jee Mains rank for general category rank is b/w 4k to 42k. Application form is on website mnit.ac.in . It contains all brief information about the college . Admission process is not so tough. It requires some document and our college provides enough to submit these documents
