I am interested in chemical research so i selected this course.SRM Institute of Science and Technology is one of the top ranking universities in India with over 52,000 full time students and more than 3200 faculty across all the campuses .Faculty must have a Ph. D. in your field, clear the UGC NET or SET exam, research experience and teaching are too good. Semester exams are pretty moderately difficult, with repeated questions

Spic company gave the internship with stipend and I worked under the research field to improve myself to grow up my knowledge.there are many projects ideas are given by faculty to improve the students

Placement Experience

Students are eligible to attend the campus interview in final semester without arrear.TCS, Infosys, Cognizant and Wipro offering 7000+ offers to students on-campus. the company offered with stipend to study with work.more than 8000 people get job offer. I want to select the campus interview

Fees and Financial Aid

SRM Kattankulathur is a private university, so the tuition fees is relatively high. However, it is still more affordable than many other private universities in India. there is adidaravidar scheme to get scholarship. Also campus interview to get job with stipend

Campus Life

It's a stimulating environment for living and learning, with cultural activities, sports, fine and arts .There is also rare book collection and peaceful to study at liberary. Nice environment in classroom and fans , AC facilities.SRM has excellent sports and recreation facilities on campus, with dedicated facilities for tennis, basketball, badminton, volley ball, yoga and various other sports.

Hostel Facilities

The rooms are available at AC or non AC , also separate bed with neat and clean . The foods are very tasty to eat and very hygienic foods . weekly menu are followed. Subject to the availability of rooms in the hostel, if a parent needs accommodation for a short stay . The locality is rented for affordable price to stay

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Admission

Admission in SRM University is possible either through clearing entrance exam i.e. SRMJEEE or direct admission through management quota. Getting admission from this college without arrear .There are no seat reservations in SRMAP.

Placements are not good literally since companies will offer only 3 lpa and below 20 % of the students only gets placed , generally students from 4 th semester are eligible for placements for geology students companies like RAMCO, some other cement industries and GIS based companies will recruit students based on their skill, I'm already working in Geophysical based company after completing my degree I will use that experience to get placed in top oil oriented company

Remarks:

The experience of every student dreamt of or atleast for me. The campus life was good and all the other stuffs were also good but in my last days the during thesis submission the reaction of our project guide was unbearable, that's the one thing I wanted to forget.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

I am a dropper, I got 75k something rank but that year cutoff for the colleges in Delhi skyrocketed for general category like nothing before. So I didn't get any college in Delhi, took a drop and applied then here at this college and Amity University Noida. I cleared both bht I preferred this college over Amity University because of many reasons - fees, cultural activities, student crowd, placement.
