Course Curriculum Overview

3

faculty is good. in first year we have every week monday test that help us in preparing for semester exams and teachers mainly teach like school but from second year it feels like college but we also have two sessionls and put exams and we should maintain a minimum attendance of 75 percent and 60 percent marks for getting more than 40 in internals

Internships Opportunities

1.5

for internship mainly 2-3 companies come in 6th sem and internship facility are available in incubation space and aicte labs in 4th year company come for placements not for internships placement is going bad in 2024 batch due to recession students are dipressed and for internship more focus on full stack developer or sales or dsa are needed. this year company for salesforce have not come and not for data science and not for devops.

Placement Experience

2

for 2024 batch due to recession company is coming less maximum package for this batch is 15 lacs and average was 3-4 lacks and only 70-80 students till now are placed which are all combined of biotech mca btech etc and more sales company are coming aws deloite also arrived but they took only 7-8 students wipro have not come yet this year and some mass recruiters have also not come. and from 6th sem we become eligible for placement my plan is to get job from on campus and after that go for government exam or for masters in abroad

Fees and Financial Aid

for first year its 118000 and from second year its 107013 and exam fees of 7135 (it may varry) exam fees is given every year there are scholarship facility also but annual income should be less than 250000 and it may vary acording to obc general sc st there is a incubation center also in which there are startups so if any student want and have that skill can work as a intern

Campus Life

3.5

we can issue books from library and we dont need to buy any book as usually all books are present in library we shoul have library card for that and there are different societies now a days but less focus on cultural fests there are usually one or two cultural fest in a year called kolahal there are more cultural activities for hostlers but not for day scholars. there is no facility for football ground there are no goal posts but for vollyball basketball badminton kabaddi and khokho its good college allow us to participate in aktu zonals but there is no coach for selection some seniors take trials. classroom are average only labs have air conditioners

Admission

there are two method for admission either direct or counselling I got admission on the basis of my jee mains percentile for direct admission for btech in computer science and techology you should have minimum 85 percent in our intermidiate exams and for jee its 60 percentile for computer science for other courses it may vary

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jims is a ipu college, so yeah curriculum depends entirely on ipu University. First year is similar for all btech courses. Or is easy to earn marks in lab and soft skill subjects but maths or physics is hard. Your 12th basics should be very good, else these two subjects will affect your overall SGPA badly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course structure is good of btech but there there is only thing I don't like is that in btech course the subjects in first year are not related to career of students because there is physics, chemistry other irrelevant subjects present in first year but in second year the course become interesting and relevant. Curriculum is good and prepare well for real world applications. The exams comes frequently every month there is a class test but class tests are moderate on the basis of there difficulty level.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the final year. The college offers basic placement training and assistance. Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly speaking I don't like the curriculum of my college. Everything is same which people studied 20 years ago . Only few things has been changed and I don't understand why we need to study about things which don't have any existence in reality. They should focus on current tech and provide more learning opportunities in AI.

Course Curriculum Overview:

course curriculum is little bit out-dated, and improvements are needed in terms of syllabus. timing of exams are ok ok. so many assignments are given which is really hectic because their are deadlines to upload those assignments in google classroom. and one thing i hate about college is 75% attendence is must. due to this we do not get much time for our personal development.
