Likes

College Timings are very good.College will follow the perfect schedule.
College management will provide special courses regarding all Branches.
Lab facilities are quite good. Lab incharges are available to teach as per your requirement and you can do the lab even in your free time

Dislikes

You shouldn't expect any culturals in the college
Students don't have many opportunities to participate in sports except in Zonal level
Canteen facilities are poor. They have no variety of snacks

Because I love this course from childhood I really like Electronics and communication engineering .All the faculty in gvp college are highly educated . Faculty are very stict towards student's discipline. No ragging is allowed inside the college . Every faculty here are highly qualified and Maximum faculty had pursued phd .

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are quite Good.The highest LPA is around 21lakhs Amazon, cognizant, wipro, Moschip, Cap gemini, Infosys etc.. Have visited the college.Students with 60% will be elligible for placements from 4-1 semester. I planned to pursue My masters after getting my degree

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure of My college is 60,000 per year but actually I got this seat through government process so the fees is paid by 4 installments per instalment I get around 15050 and coming to exam fee My college will pay for my semister fee . Campus jobs are quite nice in our college actually our college got name through campus placements only . The average salary is 24 LPA .Due to corona or maybe due to recessions the placements offers got reduced

Campus Life

The only disappointment in our college is we don't have any fests in our college . But we do celebrate or conduct technical fests which are really benifical for our acadimical growth. We do have lot of clubs in our college mainly based on the technical .coming to sports our college dont spend much fime on sports but they conduct sports only any events occur .

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are spacious and Comfortable Everyday workers will sweep and mop the floor Beds are arranged at the 4 corners of room and a ceiling fan is provided for each and every bed.Coming to the meal there is only vegetarian food and the meal is quite tasty . Fees is around 80000 per year .

Admission

The admission process was very nice and easy actually we wrote an exam called ECET through which i got admitted in the GVP womens college .And I didnot get any reservation benefits . The eligibility of this course is either you have to qualify EAPCET or ECET and the rank should be below the cut off rank mentioned by the college and then through counselling process you will be selected and will get Adimt card and joining letter . Which you should submit to the admission officer and Then the joining letter should be submitted on before the date mentioned by the government. The admission process easy but ang improvement I think should be made is that they make you wait a lot so ghat should be improved and the process should be made fast enough

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best and for some it could be worst part also , it doesn't matter whether you're a mechanical engineering student or EEE or CSE you should have to learn every single programming language from C to python including DSA and cloud computing which will help you to switch your career easily if you want. but however at the same time the mechanical students feel stressed alot. because they have to study their own field subjects which are not easy at the same time they have to clear the programming languages which are completely different from mechanical subjects

Placement Experience:

If I talk about my branch, as per my knowledge from 6th semester onwards the students can sit in the placement run. The college offers placement training with individual of expertise from that respective subject. Many top companies visit the campus to list out, AWS, INFOSYS, JMAN, TCS, IBM are some if them. More than 50 lakhs package is secured. The average lies around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed varies from branch to branch and for some branches it's 100%, the average package for them would be 3 lakhs per annum, and the highest goes around 12 lakhs per annum. Students can apply off campus if they didn't get placed.

The reason why I chose this particular college is, it is one of the top colleges in my city. As of me I'm an extreme introvert, so I can't mingle between people easily. So joining in a women's college made me less tensed. I have applied to other colleges like Gayatri vidya parishad college of engineering (autonomous), Raghu college, MVGR college and many more colleges in my city. I've got confirmed in only GVPCEW. Yes, i was rejected from the other colleges that I've applied and the reason was because of my eamcet rank. I wasn't able to get a good rank in my eamcet exam so i got rejected by the other colleges. The admission process is simple, we have to submit the required documents. There is no particular eligibilty for our college. Best for discipline and education

I have applied to other colleges like Gayatri Vidya parishad college of engineering autonomous which is our parent college and Pragati engineering college . I have got admission into Gayatri Vidya parishad college of engineering for women. I have kept option of other colleges as they are autonomous when compared to our college . But now ours is always autonomous. Admission into the college is through entrance test called EAPCET by counselling and the rank we obtained will decide to go to which college .
