NIT Patna current situation

• Course curriculum is well organised and planned. Because of personal interest in civil engineering I have choose civil Engineering. •Teacher : student ratio is almost 1:10 Most of the faculty are PHD holders with great experience.

Threre are many companies which provide internship to students of nit patna. Companies like Amazon,Oyo,sap, L and T, NHAI,etc provide internship . Some students gots paid internship while some get unpaid internship.

From 6th semester students are eligible for sitting in placement. Top companies visiting our college fro recruitment are Infosys, Samsung, Amazon, Wipro, IBM, Oracle, Capgemini and many more. In core sector companies like L and T, Tata motors etc visit campus.

As Central government itself provide relief in fee for poor students for SC -ST and students with family income less than 1 lakh their tuition fee is Zero. But for students having income between 1-5 lakh thye have to pay 1/3 of tution fees only. College also provide many scholarship opportunities.

Corona and melange is the annual fest of college which is generally conducted in nonth of Feb. Almost all books and jornals are available in the central library of college. College has many club like Vista, Sankalp,expresso,total chaos, etc

1 year student will get a room having 3-6 bed.you can also get single bed rooms ,but chance as well as room are overall not so good.there are 7 hostels for 1 year student; sone hostel block a and b. ,kosi extension near ganga ghat ,FH hostel ,ganga hostel ( girls hostel),ganga block c,kosi hostel which is inside the campus. For 3rd and 4 year Bhramputra hostel is provided which is 1 or 2 sitter room.

For getting admission in NIT patna one has to pass intermediate exam with above 75% marks or in top 20 percentile. After that they have to appear in joint interence exam i.e JEE mains and clear it and and then have to appear in josaa or csab councilling to secure seat at nit patna.
