Likes

Campus is quite large. There is a lot of greenery.
Fests are good. Blitzschlag is one of the best experience
The city Jaipur ,also popularly known as Pink city is no lesser than a heaven on the earth .

Dislikes

Mess , it's better to have a fast rather than eating meals at the hostel.
Hostel in time is something all girls really struggle about. Though there a lot of campaigns against it , yet no strict action is taken
The schedule is hectic. We rarely get free time.

Course Curriculum Overview

Well , the course we study has nothing eith the placements and all stuff. For placements we need to study entirely different. Most of the professors are very old aged and they don't even have mic . So they are not even audible in class . However , a few faculties are good. rest all lectures you have to attend just for the sake of attendance.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 230000 per year

Internships Opportunities

In the beginning of third year , students sit for internship interviews and companies like Amazon, arcesium , edulyt India, Deeshaw,Accenture ,Goldman Sachs , oracle ,texas etc. come for internship. Some Students even get 1,25,000 as stipend and even get a PPO.

Placement Experience

Due to recession , everyone is depressed. Though I can hear many seniors getting placed at Google , arcesium , Amazon etc. and their package is also good. Other companies are Deeshaw, Apple , Accenture.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for those whose family income annualy is greater than 5lakhs is 62,500 tuition fee + 16,800 institute fees +32,000 hostel fee for each semester .rest people have scholarship depending on their annual income however everyone share same hostel fees and institute fees! Also some additional charges are applied in odd semesters and a security deposit is taken in the first sem which is refundable.

Campus Life

Well , the campus life is overall good as compared to other nit as mnit jaipur lies in the centre of city . So , connectivity is good. The annual fests are blitzschlag (cultural) and sphinx(technical) . Blitz is conducted in the first week of Feb whereas sphinx is in sep-nov period. Library here is good and classroom desks are good but there is no mics in the class. There is a new basketball court which is quite classy. You can find all the clubs like Mavericks , think india , debate club , etc. on the insta page.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel Life is okay okay. If a girl is provided acharya bhawan .it's flat actually luxurious flat. But it's quite distant from the vltc lecture hall . The gargi is just opposite to vltc . So , it's locality is a great factor. Room here is okay okay . Though meal services are not satisfactory. Breakfast is okay. Rest all are not good.

Hostel Fee: INR 65000 per year

Admission

Basically we get admitted through JEE Main entrance examination and the cutoff varies for each category from general to sc/St or even lower for pwd . The cutoff for general cse male is around 3000 rank whereas for female is 5000. Though it may vary for home state and other state as well

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester the students are eligible for placement opportunities in on campus placement. The companies like vedanta,Infosys,TCS ,ATA Steel,etc.visited my college. The highest placement in my branch in previous year is about 12.5 LPA,and the average package in my branch is 6.5 LPA .approx 70-80 percent students are placed in my branch in on campus placement.

Good college, good life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food is a vast subject and people will not stop eating, so the scope of food technology is just amazing. The college has its own faculty for different subjects. This btech course is of 4 years ie 8 semesters. Each semester has midterms and final semester exams. Last semester is for an internship. Midterms are of 20 marks, practical of 30 marks and final semester theory exams of 50 marks, so passing the exam is damn easy. Regular classes with good faculties make this course easy.

Admission:

Through AIEEE or RPET or through management quota. One can just apply through the college portal and submit there Aieee marks. Though RPET is a preferred mode of entrance to any college in RTU. Management quota is also there for well off candidates and lesser marks

Remarks:

The college is strict about it's attendance. You need to maintain 75% attendance. And taking about the studies there is a very studios environment in the college and the labs. The Students here not just focus on academics they also do some good extra activities.

Life at MNIT Jaipur

MNIT stood out for its national ranking, active campus life, and better research opportunities compared to the state colleges. The admission process is through JEE Main and JoSAA counselling—cutoffs for CSE are usually under 10,000 AIR, while other branches have higher cutoffs. Adventurous Journey

MNIT is among the best NITs of Northern India further it possesses a highly strong mechanical in civil departments which is regarded to be the strongest one after IIT Roorkee in Northern India to be admitted into MNIT you need to clear JEE Mains examination with a minimum 97% tile for the general category further than you need to apply for JOSAA and C-SAB consuelling to admit into MNIT. I have also taken admission in NIT Allahabad mechanical engineering but I wasn't able to get it since that closed 1000 above my rank, it is mentioned that they have a very good mechanical department as well. MNIT Jaipur also had had a great infrastructure to look out and also give frequent industrial visits to enhance practical knowledge....Read More

I applied for this based on nirf rankings and actually I was wishing to get this college, I was trying for nit Rourkela, nit Trichy but because of my ranking i wasn't able to get a seat in those colleges and as in my choice filling after those 2 colleges , I had filled mnit Jaipur as 3rd preference and my rank was good enough to secure a seat in this college Admission process is to write jee barch exam and apply for josaa counselling by filling your choices and wait for rounds to get your seat , once you get any seat in choices you'll be allowed to accept that seat or freeze that seat and move to next round for better college in your choices...Read More
