Most honest and complete opinion of MNIT

I choosed MNIT because of its prime location and was best among what i could get in my rank...I opted for chemical because i wanted to go in data analyst side of job and chemical engineering has the most free time as i heard according to my rank .Teaching by professors is extremely boring ,no one wants to listen then ,we only go for 75% attendance and nothing else.The exams are very tough as our director has nothing but academics in his mind . And specifically when it comes to chemical ,we have absolute marking which makes it much difficult to score grades.If i would have known that chemical engineering at MNIT has absolute marking i would have never come here.

Internship opportunities are just okay for CS and ECE students but for others its nearly impossible to get an intern from college . I am planning and preparing to get one in data analyst type so n 3rd year in JPMC,accenture, etc

Placement is our college is average , we can get a descent package of around 10lpa if we work hard average for chemical wa 10lpa and highest package over all branches was 64 lpa .Around 65% students get places each year

Fees is still fixed as i am in 2nd year , if they hike it , i don't know about that. There are many opportunities of scholarship for SC/ST pwd ,even general with less family income. I didn't avail any scholarship and not any job still because i am in 2nd year and opportunity to apply for internship opens in 3rd year

Our cultural fest is Blitzschlag in feb and tech fest is Sphinx in Nov .They are pretty good and you will enjoy much with your friends .Last year shaan came at the final pro night of Blitzschlag.Overall life is very good you can explore places in jaipur with you cycle, can go for movies just nearby and can also visit places around jaipur. Clubs are bullshit in our college ,it lies wholely on the student body , if you understand the concept of "Chatukarita" or apne seniors ki chaatna then upu will secure position in the club and the clubs except few are inactive throughout the year.

There are many new and old hostels, new ones are the best but the allotment is random .The best part of old hostels are their government messes which is quite good.The new hostels have worst food as they are given to contractors on tender basis.Hostels are quite affordable.Remember to ne thing for which i got stuck here "ONLY VEG || NO NON VEG FOOD AVAILABLE HERE"

Admission process was great ,there was a jee mains cutoff rank for admission which i cleared and then i applied for JOSAA and then also for CSAB all of in which i got the same college MNIT Jaipur.Application form and dates were on the site of josaa and the respective college sites after confirming on josaa...I did avail the OBC-NCL quota for which i got Chemical engineering at MNIT at AIR 30560...
