Remarks

Admission procedure in the college is little hectic with all the documents and their 3 copies. Since it is one of the top colleges of MP cut off is high. Application has to be made while appearing for counseling through DME or AIQ.

Course Curriculum Overview

Theory classes are average with a few professors being very good to few of them being average. But that is everywhere. Clinical postings are again good to moderate. Some department being very enthusiastic and some mediocre. You can get good patient outflow so you can learn many different things. University is slow in conducting examination. We are currently in delay of about 4 months from other states. Though 2022 batches are having timely examination.

Internships Opportunities

Since it is a medical college there is compulsory internship of 1 year at the end of the course. It helps to get hands on experience. It is usually on people how they spend their internship. For some it is time to self study while for some it is time to learn clinicals.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is 1 lakh which is affordable for a medical college. You can get Medhavi Chhatra Yojana and Post metric scholarship which can be helpful. During internship you will get a stipend of 12k (in process of increasing it to 15k)

Campus Life

Library is very nice as it is newly constructed. Classrooms have ACs and fans, projectors and white boards. Infrastructure is good. Extra curricular on campus is not available currently. Though sports events are organised by JDA.

Hostel Facilities

New hostel is very good as it is well constructed. View from the hostel is very soothing and calm. Very helpful during stressful times. Now though hostels are fully occupied so it is very difficult to get rooms now. Meals are average.
