Remarks

Though the college is only 10 years old,but is the best in MP. The faculty,the infrastructure is one of the best in MP. There are PG seats in some non clinical subjects but the college is waiting for recognition for PG seats in clinical subjects so that the college produces specialist doctors in clinical field.

Course Curriculum Overview

Exams are conducted according to the MPMSU and MCI norms. The student must have 75% attendance in theory classes and 85% attendance in practicals. Marking scheme is different for each professional year. For marking scheme, please refer the MPMSU website - www.mpmsu.edu.in

Placement Experience

Yes the college provides internship to MBBS completed students for 12 months tenure after which MBBS is said to be completely valid. The interns are given a stipend of ?10000 per month. In the internship the students are posted in wards and OPDs of all the clinical subjects taught during MBBS and they learn how to treat patients and many more things.

College Events

The college holds a number of events.Some of them are: 1)Corona - It is the Annual Gathering/Festival of the institution where the students show their extra curricular talents apart from studies.It usually occurs in the month of November December every year and is organised by the students if pre final year. 2) Hariyali Mahotsav - In the first week of July,Hariyali Mahotsav is being celebrated where there is planting of trees,poster making,essay writing competition etc occurs. 3) Blood Donation Camps 4) Various CME and Seminars on Medical studies. 5) Various seminars on spiritual and mental wellness by ISKCON & ART of LIVING. 6) Other programmes.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for MBBS course is 50000? paid for one year so the total fee costs around 2 lacs for the whole course which makes it among the cheapest institutions for MBBS. Scholarships are given to the weaker section students according to their parents'annual income for paying their fees. The college also charges 4000? per annum for library and other facilities.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college gives scholarship given by various departments of State and Central government. One must visit the students section for further details. One good scholarship scheme given by government is that students belonging to backward categories (OBC/SC/ST) are given scholarship equal to or less than the tuition fee according to their parents'annual income.

Campus Life

The college holds many extracurricular activities such as Corona,Hariyali Mahotsav, Janmashtami Celebration, Ganpati Celebration, Dussehra, Christmas etc. The college also holds sports events during the annual festival. The laboratory are well equipped in the college but some equipments and machines are not present in the college such as CT Scan machine,MRI machine.So the patient has to go to private centres for these tests. Moreover there is a project of establishment of Virology lab in the college and the lab will be working in near future.

Alumni/Alumna

Since there are only 4 or 5 passout batches from the college,there is not a number of alumni of the college.There are many passouts which are doing post-graduation from the best colleges of India and Madhya Pradesh.Some are working in the college after doing post graduation.Some have joined the college as Junior Residents and are working in the associated hospital. Seniors are very helpful and you can count on them in every deed and need.

Admission

Admission process in this college is by National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The college admits 125 students in one admission year.The number of seats may increase after infrastructure development and MCI norms fulfillment. The college is currently affiliated with Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University Jabalpur (MPMSU).

The faculty in college is experienced and student friendly. Their way of teaching is such that the topic taught in class is easily understood. Practical classes are more emphasized. Clinical postings are strictly followed. In a nutshell,the best faculty in whole Madhya Pradesh.
