Course Curriculum Overview

3

I always wanted to become doctor so mbbs is the best option and the curriculum is well prepared to expose us to clinical aspects which will help in studying medicine. Only improvement needed is they need to reduce some syllabus. Exams are difficult and checking is also very strict that we only manage to pass the exams by studying alot.

Internships Opportunities

2

In our course , internship is provided after completing 4.5 year of studies and stoned is 13000 monthly . After completing internship only you will be graduated from college. During internship students are posted in every department according to their shifts scheduled by college management.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total tution fees per year is 100000 rupees excluding hostel and library fees . 14000 rupees caution money is paid during admission which is refunded after graduation . Fees is same for everyone it doesn't matter which category they belong to . But there are scholarships provided which are mukhyamantri medhavi vidhyarthi yojana , Mukhyamantri Jan Kalyan yojana, post matric scholarship. Mukhyamantri medhavi vidhyarthi yojana is for every category and eligibility is they must pass 12 th class mp board with 70 or more percentage and CBSE/icse with 85 or more percentage and family income less than 6 lakh.Tuition fee is paid by government Jan Kalyan yojana is for farmer child and tuition fees paid by government. Post matric scholarship is for sc,st,OBC in which tuition fees is paid by government. Tution fees is increasing vastly ,it was 50 thousand per year till 2018 and from 2019 onwards ,it is 1 lakh just double to previous one .

Campus Life

3

Annual fest mostly occur in October - November month but from past two years there are no fest held in our college. Books are available in library and our seniors also give us there books to study . Our lecture theatre has smart board with 2 white boards for presentations .there are centralised AC as well in every lecture theatre . Sport events occur every month and games involved are cricket, basketball, volleyball.

Hostel Facilities

3

I have opted for hostel and our hostel fees is 12000 per year . 2 students live in every room Mess food is not so good and it is of a erage quality. Hostel fees is paid during admission along with library fees and form is filled tk register in hostel .

Admission

I wanted to take admission in Mahatma Gandhi memorial college but cutoff of that college was too high . We don't have to apply ,choice filling is done online and seat is alloted based on marks in neet ug exam . Admission is done online we have to take documents in college for verification. To take admission you have to clear neet ug exam with decent score to grab seat in government medical college.

Faculty

4

Faculty to students ratio is good because there are pg students as well in every department who teach us .Lectures are assigned monthly and timetable is made by HOD . Relationship with faculty is good academically and they try to clear our all doubts about studies . Faculties i have interacted till now are all good and no one really disrespect you until you don't take studies seriously . Internal Exams occur every alternate month in our college and final exams in 12 months . From 125 students ,10-20 fail every year .

Course Curriculum Overview:

First of all the college faculty and management is very good they teach us each and every topic very easily in a understandable way. Their is also hospital postings to see real life patients and their problems. Their is such good way it is managed that I didn't feel any improvement yet. The exams are held accordingly to the given time table by university and exams are mix of easy, hard and brain storming questions.

Ive always wanted to be a doctor as my uncle is a doctor and ive lived with him for half of my life. Mbbs and especially internship here prepares a medical student for any challanges that he/she might face while being posted in his bond or in PG. Ive already mentioned about the frequency of examinations. As for area of improvements, they should also incorporate rural visits and train us for real life
