Course Curriculum Overview

This course was offered on the basis of my JEE mains rank. The student to teacher ratio is average and the teachers are very cooperative in everything. All the faculty are well qualified and all of these qualification could be seen when they are teaching. There are two sessional exams in a term and the term exams on time and if you study for a day properly you could easily pass the exams.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is not so much. The courses are very affordable and no extra things/money are not used in the college. No extra things are demanded in the courses. The projects are very easy. The hostels are also very affordable except the mess food, everything in the hostel are good. Many scholarship are there.

Campus Life

Jnagani is the annual fest which have started in 2023 after the COVID. The freshers party for every new session are fabulous. All the technical books are available in the library and could be easily issued if you have library card. All the sports equipment are available in the college ground as well as there is a stadium near the main campus.

Admission

The admission was on the basis of the JEE mains rank. The admission process was very smooth. During the admission process all the things were easily done and all the people were very cooperative with us.

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a very good placement ratio and placement also depends on the economy and industry that year and a lot lf other factor but if you have a CGPA of above 8 you are moat likely to get placed. The highest package ranges from 2-3 crores and average goes around 13lpa. I am currently planning to do an MBA after graduation from a foreign university moat likely Harvard.

Engineering in Gurukul Kangri Deemed to be University, Haridwar

It was the only college offering CSE during JOSAA councilling based on my JEE Mains score, so I decided to opt for it without thinking twice. I was offered a seat in special CSAB round. Seats are offered based on JEE Mains scores. Lateral entry for diploma holders is offered directly in 2nd year based on the examination conducted by the University. Firstly we need 12th pass with 75% marks then crack the jee mains examination and sit in the josaa counseling then go into the csab counseling after the counseling crl rank under the 1lakh .
