Internships Opportunities

There are various internships offered by carols seed, fertiliser, manure, herbicide pesticide companies like Saaf.ltd. There is also NAHEP which provides opportunities to student to go abroad for internships and study

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee hike is like 200? every year Scholarship like top 10, Ishan Uday, scholarships from parents office are applicable . Several placements comes to the campus giving wide range of opportunities to the students.

Campus Life

Annual fest is Aventine held each year usually in the month of December. Lots of books almost whatever you want is available in the library. Air condition classrooms Gym, football basketball cricket table tennis badminton

Hostel Facilities

Fan electricity bed table side table sometimes. Good meal quality, twice chicken, once egg twice fish and twice veg in a week Registration is done with the process of admission and with a fee of 5000? per semester that is ?10000 per year No room needs to be rented if staying on hostel

Admission was by entrance , cut of was 90% Eligibility is 12th pass Application form found in the official website, www. Assam agriculture university.in No such reservation benefits The addmission process is perfect and without and biasedness hence need no improvement.

MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

As I m just in 1st year I have little idea ..the highest package is 12lpa and one thing is 100% intership is there ... amul, punjab national bank , federal Bank,seed companies and many more visits for on campus placement avg may be 3-4 if here is no placement in ug ..many of us will do msc or prepare for competitive exam like nabard and Ado .. placement start form 4th year .. overall 70-80% placement ratio

Course Curriculum Overview:

The new syllabus under new education policy is better which focuses on practicality.but the old one in which we are enrolled is more focused on theoretical aspects rather than practicality. Students start studying before 2 days of exam and forgot everything after exams ...its like parrot learning , which do not teach anything in reality .

I chooses this college because it's in my home state and its best college for agriculture in entire northeast and it's ranking is also good in all over India ..i just applied for this college ..to get admission in this college we have to give one state level college entrance test to get addmission and another is cuet icar for the students from other states other than assam ..for assam the exam name is aau cet ..min eligibility is 60% in class 12 and must be citizen of assam to give aau cet cutoff depends on course to course... by this exam aau cet we can opt for veterinary,fishery, agriculture, community science,food and nutrition.. admission is granted according to our rank...Read More
