- They didn't provide hostel facility and placements for the students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
It is a 2 year postgraduate programme. It is devided into 4 semester, you have to submit thesis based on the specialization at the end of your M.Sc. The total intake of the students for this course was 13. The faculty of college of home science were involved in teaching and guiding post graduate students. The faculty were very educated, friendly and experienced.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee for this course is upto 50k to 60k per annum, The government of Andhra Pradesh is providing an amount of 7k per month as stipend to the MSc students. ICAR provides junior fellowship of 6k to the students who are selected through AIEEA.
Campus Life :
The library is located in the building. The library is provided with wifi facility in computer to access the e resources. Scanning, printing and xeroxing are provided for students. The library has textbooks, journals and magazines. They provide indoor and outdoor play equipment. The students participate in inter college tournaments and annual celebrations.
Hostel Facilities :
The university didn't provide any hostel facility so I stayed in a private hostel. The private hostel was good but It was far from the university so I had to take two public buses to go to the university.
Admission :
The qualification for MSC in Home science is the candidate should have passed B.Sc home science or some bachelor's degree in home science relatives after 10th and +2. The candidates requited to crack the examination to get the admission in the course. The application form, fees and application process details are available in university website.
