Course Curriculum Overview
I choosed this course because i was having keen interest to persue my masters with economics. As i got highest marks in economics always from my 11th standard, in my 12th board examination i scored 82 marks in my economics even in my graduation also i used to get good marks in economics. Total number of students were 50 in masters and faculty was 1 at a time in a single lecture. All the faculties are Phd holders and there teaching method was ver nice it was very interactive process. so students can easily understand in a lucid manner about the concepts. Regarding exams there was a semister system yearly 2 exams were there in M.Com 1st year 1 internal exam was there for 20 marks and external for 80 marks. Same examination pattern in M.Com 2nd year that is a final year. 1 internal exam for 20 marks and external for 80 marks. Then all thses total of 4 exams makes a final result of masters with economics.
Fees and Financial Aid
Regarding fees structure for girls its very nominal like in 1st year only 350 rupees and in 2nd year also near to the same. but for boys it is not same they need to pay around 5000rupees in 1 st year as well as in 2nd year.Yes there are financial support and scholarship system for the students who belongs from reservation catagories. No campus interview was there for masters with economics.
Campus Life
Annual festival is conducted every year in the month of december. Yes all books , journals are available with the registered college library named Hansa Mehta library. All the class rooms are well maintained with desired things like benches, black board, dust free chalks, white board with marker pens, projector. Proper space with proper air circulations are there with proper fans and light systems. University is having a very big sports ground, swimming pool , all out doors and indoors games are available with proper facilities and coaches and mentors. Students who take part in election for senate members they are running their social groups.
Admission
Eligibility criteria is need to complete graduation from commerce bacground that is B.Com and that too with mininum percentage with above 60. Application form is directly available from university office as well as from online also from the website named www.msu.in , application form is totally free of cost. And for taking admission in masters need to wait till the month of june because after the result of graduation declared. Then from the month of june almost in 2nd week or after every year the dates of application for masters in commerce (economics) are available. I have not availed any reservation benifits because i belongs to general catagory. no i dont want to see any improvement in addmission process.
