One of the beautiful colleges with great infrastructure

GMRIT is college where a student find it very difficult to get a degree with the best campus life . My sincere suggestion for the students is to prefer some other college except gmrit. Because they provide same facilities provided by other colleges with less fee structure.

I got entrance through EAMCET where I got 73000 rank. I can't get CSE in gmrit with that rank. So I submitted my sports certificates at the time of counselling. I have chosen gmrit because this was the best autonomous college near to me during 2013. This college shows maximum placements during that year.

Course structure of gmrit is the oldest and outdated one. They don't get updated with the structure. They always follow their vintage rules and regulations and at the same time some faculties of computer science branch will help students to learn the concept. Along with that they introduce good platforms to students which make students improve themselves.

Yes GMRIT provides both one-month internship and six months internship programmes for students. One month internship programme is mandatory for every student in the second year. But six months programme is for those who are interested to do and tops in their academics. Six months internship will be provided in the final year. Some students will get a stipend up to 20000 per month during the internship. Most of the students do it for free. That depends on the performance during the interview for the internship

Almost 60% of qualified students will get placed. Until 2015 GMRIT is famous for the placements and job opportunities. But when it comes to autonomous companies are not willing to select students from GMRIT and the common reason is that students from gmrit are not stable in the company. Few companies that recruited from our batch are tech Mahindra, Capgemini, TCS, fluentgrid, virtues, by jus, Genpact, l & t, GMR airport, etc.

They organise events just for the namesake. No student till now get satisfied with those events celebrated in our college. Stepcone is the fest celebrated in gmrit every year . They organise events and stalls for the stepcone. Along with that they celebrate annual day etc

Very expensive fee structure. Fee for the hostel - 75000 College fees- 115000 Condonation for less than 75% is 5000 When compared to most of the colleges with the same facilities gmrit will be very expensive. One never feel it reasonable to pay that much of fees to GMRIT.

I have never seen loan facility given by college authorities. But some fees will be reduced by the college who got rank less than thousand in EAMCET.

One can experience the best infrastructure in gmrit . But they can see a lot of gender ratio diversity. senior junior relationship was so good in our college. They don't encourage student parties. Physical director is the worst one of our college. Even if the students stood first place in zonal sports they don't encourage them at all. Workshops and motivation sessions will be provided for students

They provide 24/7 electricity. Hostels are not so good for that fees. Rules and regulations will suck hostel students. Provide internet facility with very low speed. Mess timings are so worst and non-veg will be extra charged. Dhobi will not be included in hostel fees. Once a student violates rules of hostel those hostel admissions will be canceled and the fees are non-refundable. Quality and standards are average.

Senior junior relationship is the best thing in our college. Even passed out students will always keep in touch with juniors and guide them in all aspects. They also helps juniors in getting placed in the company they work for.

Exams and labs were conducted very frequently. They leave us with a hectic day. Exams and labs were so strict that if someone found doing malpractice they will be suspended for the whole semester exams and publish those students list in notice board and on website too.

After getting my EAMCET results I have taken mock counselling to verify the best college that suits with rank. I understood that I can't get admission in top colleges near me with that rank. So then I decided to apply for sports quota. I didn't got admission in GMRIT for first counselling. So I again went for secong counseling and finally got admission in cse of gmrit

Highly qualified faculty will come to teach students. But most of the students will find it difficult to understand the accent of faculties in gmrit. This happens because faculties will come from different places. But still there are some faculties who don't teach properly. Faculty domination can be seen in gmrit.
