Entrance Preview
CMAT is the entrance exam you have to give for MBA(FT) course and counseling is held by DET online only. Your admission depends on your rank the closer the rank. You have to opt for courses and college and then visit the college with that for confirmation which was held offline in my college. My rank was 23 overall and I got the college easily
Course Curriculum Overview
MBA (Full Time) is the most renowned courses in the university since can be admitted through CMAT exam only not through DAVV CET exam. The course curriculum was great overall with the first year studying all subjects of MBA and opt for specialization in 2nd year like I opted for Finance. We also have the choice to select the subject as elective in 2nd year.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, the college provides the opportunity for internship and companies to come for it. Companies like Nestlé, Mahindra, SBI, Axis bank etc come and offered stipends like 11000 per month and varied
Placement Experience
Placement opportunity are ample you just need to grab it.We have a placement cell also working for us. Placement company like Nestle offers 4 LPA, Axis bank offers 3.2 LPA, Deloitte offers 6lpa, Bajaj finserv offers 7lpa, HDFC mutual fund offers 5lpa, HDFC BANK offers 6.4 LPA in which i am placed. More than 30 + companies visit the college.
College Events
Our college has events a lot either fun event or related to studies like workshop, or exhibition etc. we have a welcome event to juniors like freshers in and outside the college. After that, we have a workshop for every branch like finance, marketing, HR conclave etc helpful in making understanding their importance. we have annual event like-brand bazar, hurisko, and sports event like pratispadha, spoorti, prayas etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure was overall good from the point of return on investment. we have to pay the semester fees only. semester fees were around 21000-22000 rupees per semester. We pay the fees online on mponline website. Our semester fees include all expenses like exam fees, development fees, education fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes our college has scholarship facility for the eligible students. Every semester we have to fill the form and complete the attendance criteria required. Our college doesn't provide any loan facility.
Campus Life
The gender ratio in college is around 1:1 as we have a reservation for female candidates. Culture diversity is seen as student from every part came here. in our college we don't have biased on religion or caste. we make friends without knowing there caste and stay together for parties, events, and studies. Our college is zero in case of ragging is concerned. College is rich in its value and know in central india for that.
Hostel Facilities
Davv university hostels are allotted to each student who applied for it. Hostel rooms are for two students sharing with bed and table chair for studies. Hostel campus is enabled with wifi facility all time. We also have mess facility in hostel if anyone wants outside food can also go for that. Hostel fees is around 17000 per year excluding mess which you have to pay per month of 1400-1700 rupees.
Alumni/Alumna
3-4 we also have alumni meet, once in my tenure there was one, our seniors in every part of the country come and share their experience in the outer world.
Exam Structure
Exams held in every semester. In every semester we have 3 internal exams of 20 marks each and best two are selected. Final exam is of 60 marks at end of every semester, which may have 20 marks case studies or practical questions. All total we have 4 semesters in 2 years. Our college time is from 8:30 am to 1:30 am after that it depends on faculty to give assignment for work
Admission
We were to fill the counselling form on DET website and then fill the choice for college and courses. I opted for IMS MBA (FT). Then after online process is filled you need to wait if college is allotted to you. I was allotted the college since I score 95% in CMAT. After these we were called for documents verification in college and finalise the admission. Each process of information to students was online.
Faculty
Faculty at IMS are all specialised in their respective field. Majority of our teachers were Ph.D. holder in their field they teach. Thus experience with them was great overall. All teachers took great interest in teaching and giving us the best they have.
