Life at PSMCR

I took Computer sciencebecause of my interest in technology and IT, the course circulum is good and is given by JNTUK to which our college is affiliated. The faculty student ration was nearly 1:45 (not accurate though), all the faculty are either graduate or post graduate even holding a PhD, with a wealth teaching experience, coming to exams we have two mid exams each covering half the syllabus , followed by lab internal, external and sem end exam, all these schedules and question paper are give by jntuk, and there is a bit of diffulculty in passing the exams but with right preparation and proper answer presentaion it will be good

Fee was something around 50k per year, as I got the admission through state board entrance exam, I got a 100 percent scholarship because of family financial state. The process for scholarship will start when you apply for the entrance exam itself, some neccesary documents and details are to be submitted and once you pass the exam, you will be notified for certificate verification which will be the final step for scholarship and if found eligible(because of family financial status) you will get the scholarship.

There wern't any notable event in the begining but gradually there was a fest, annaual celbration, women day celebration, etc. College supports sports and sports events are conducted often. Clubs like IEEE, Toastermasters and rotract are there and even library has good and useful academic books.

I got the admission through a state-level entrance test EAMCET (now as EAPCET), the eligibilty for the application is to complete 12th, and could be found online with a fee around 500 and once if you got good marks and rank, you can join into any college in Andhra Pradesh according to their cut off, for this college the cut off was something around 80k, The Rank cutt off for the colleges does vary a bit according to resevation. I don't think there should be any impovements in admission process
