Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this computer science course in Btech as per my intrest and also the market demand with more job opportunities. The curriculum is marginally good but not completely, it is bit outdated but i wont blame the college for it as the most of the universities follow the same curriculum. The practical learning of the students need a major improvement and also addition of latest tech in academics is need and also the faculty need to be recruited based on that
Placement Experience
One cannot expect MNC companies for placement in this college, but there are other lower optoons like startups and non it jobs .i would rate the placements as below par but it depends on the market also sometimes and it getting better for the upcoming students in my opinion as the college became autonomous
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for the year in our college will be 41500 if one gets seat through eapcet exam score and the rank required in eapcet was around 40000 for OC/General candidates for CSE. Apart from the tuition fee every year student needs to pay 10000/- as building fund and training fee and in the 1st year there will an additional 500/- as registration fee. If the student joined the college or availed seat through management quato the fee will be around 1 lakh to 1.1 lakh per year. Every sem there will a fee i.e., examination fee of 970 for jntuk affiliated students and 2000 for autonomous students(i.e., students joined from 2023 batch are autonomous).
Campus Life
There will be fair amount of events in college like both technical and non technical. Events on certain days like world engineers day for instance there will be quizzes etc and also prices will be there for winners. And non tech events like freshers and farewell and annual day and fete every year will be done
Admission
The college admission can be done through writing eapcet exam and the score or rank should be around 30k for computer science in pscmr when i have joined or one can get the seat through management quota there will be no exam for that like any other university entrance will not be there. I choose this as in tjis range its a decent college and also commute time is very less
Faculty
The faculty will be very friendly in most of the cases and also the student to faculty ratio is also very good. The mid examinations will be comducted 2 per semester and they are considerably easy and faculty will help us in the classes by covering most the concepts for internal exams. But they need some improvement in the way they teach and also more skillful proffersors are needed to be recruited for the college
Night Life
The college it self is not big but the canteen is small but the food is decent and very affordable with only vegetarian options. The hostel for girls is in the college itself and for boys its outside the campus but near the college only. The library is a bit outdated and needs improvement. There is a cricket net for students, a volleyball court and kabaddi court.
