Remarks

College is very good for top branches. For other branches like automobile, biotechnology and civil opportunities are very limited. Good atmosphere except the conflicts between hosteller and day scholars. The climate is very typical as too much hot in summer and very cold in winter. If an individual dedicate its four years sincerely he would definitely succeed in his life. Management is average like typical government college.

Entrance Preview

I gave mains and got this college. I had options to choose between IT branch in SGSITS and CSE in MITS. I choose CSE in MITS as CSE is the leading branch and career opportunities are plenty. Placement are good. I scored 133 marks in jee mains and got the rank of 36672. It is the second best college of Madhya Pradesh. It is far better than DAVV. I got CSE in first round of MP B.E concelling. The college now gives b.tech degree.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is designed in a very pleasant way. It focuses on complete understanding of topics. The curriculum is well designed for proper development of concepts. The main topics are all covered. The practicals are once a week of each subject. Each lab contribute to 1 credit. The syllabus is not too tough neither too easy.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, there is training and placement cell which will help you for getting the internship. The college provide internship for only first year which has started from these year as per RGPV norms. The college can help you in getting internship on your areas of interest. The college does not particularly provide the internship but would help in the best possible way.

Placement Experience

3

The placement are good. If you are a CS/IT students, then you have plenty of opportunities. The placement of EC and mechanical are very good. The chemical branch too have companies coming. Only the lower branches get low exposure and opportunities. The college have rare placement from biotechnology and automobile engineering.

College Events

3.5

The college have many events Being celebrated. The MITSVA is the biggest event. The events are not held on very large scale rather at college level. Apart from MITSVA many clubs events too took place like tech chelesta, technocrats etc. The food fiesta also take place. Apart from these sports events like nukkad cricket also take place.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is feasible for average families. The fees is bit too high as compared to normal government colleges by is still feasible. The fees of CSE is 56 thousand and 10 thousand rupees are of caution money and development fees. The mess fees is little higher. The mess fee is 66 thousand which includes 10 thousand rupees as caution money.

Fees and Financial Aid

It is a government college so education loan can be taken easily. The fees too are average. The fees are higher than most government colleges. The top students of branches are offered with fees waiver. If you are a SC/ST then you have plenty of scholarship.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is awesome. The lectures are boring but you will enjoy the lab. Many events keep on going, so no boredom in college. You can play sports The sports opportunities are very limited. There is fresher's party for each branch. There will variety of students from all over India. There is no such politics going on.The sex ratio of college is also average. Girls too actively participate and organise events. There is no such discrimination on culture, race etc.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel are like heaven. All basic facilities are provided. Mess food is always an issue but food is average. The hostel too provide playing equipments . Mess menu are made by committee formed by hostel students with the consultancy of contractor. If you are in hostel then you need not to be worth about water other their is shortage of water in gwalior. The drinking water is pure and chilled.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni are very helpful. They would help you in the best possible way. If you are a hosteller then you gonna rule the college. The hostellers had his fellow seniors of hostel to look out for them. They may be strict but are very cooperative and would help you in any your difficult situation. The day scholars seniors are polite and cooperative too. The senior will definitely help you. The day scholars too can seek guidance by seniors by taking part in events and clubs.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is simple. The endsems have regular leave among the papers. The leave are enough for preparation. The midden marks are taken as an average of your performance in your two mid terms. If you miss any one mid term then you can give third mid term. Exams are held after third mid term. The papers are of a good level.

Admission

I applied for MP B.E concelling and got this college in first round. I had SGSITS as my first choice in concelling and CSE at MITS as second. I took the admission in first round after completing paper works. The MP students have state quota but the domicile certificate is must.

Faculty

3.5

The faculties of the CSE are well qualified. The other branches donor have a well qualified facilities. The mechanical too has good faculties. The chemical, automobile, etc branches suffer a lot due to not too qualified facilities as well as due to improper exposure.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester onwards. Companies visiting campus are mostly mass recruiters along with a few product-based and mid-level companies. Most students receive an average package of approximately 5-6 LPA, while higher packages are offered to only a few top performers. Few seniors, whom I know got packages of 8.5 LPA, 12 LPA, and 19 LPA also, so basically higher packages are also offered but their competition is high and only some of them can make it up to that. A good percentage of eligible students receive the placement offers, mainlt in IT and service-based roles, but competition remains there, so one needs to have serious preparation on his or her own. Arond 60%+ students got placed every year from on-campuses placements. The placement cell provides training sessions and interview sessions from the third year onwards. Overall, placements can be considered decent compared to other private colleges in the region. Basically, after completing my graduation, I plan to pursue good placement otherwise prepare further for civil services after understanding career growth, however, this is not my final decision but could make a final one before the completion of course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The manit curriculum for mechanical is quite strong in basics and was a major reason i chose this course .It covers core maths ,mechanics ,physics ,electrical and wrskhopa ,which helps for higher studies and exams .Exams are frequent with midsems ,quizzes and endsems;sometimes the schedule feels packed, but it keeps us regular with the syllabus.Difficulty is moderate if you attend classes and practice .Still , some subjects feel outdated and there should be more software , projects and insustry oriented content.

Placement record is decent, campus drives happens regularly. If no campus placement is offered then it's obvious one has to struggle a bit more to get a decent job but I beleive the college makes the students capable enough to crack the campus placement if a person really is capable then their is no lack of resources from the college. Even if there is no in campus placement I think everyone has a plan B.
