Course Curriculum Overview

Course and curriculum is much normal including basic subjects in first year and adding core subjects one by one in coming years even adding non technical subjects like Indian constitution or environment science. Sometimes subjects feel like not necessary for the course but even though it is added. The mid sem exams are conducted for every 2 months and end sem exams are conducted for 5 months.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 86000 per year

Placement Experience

Campus placements are good up to a point , students mostly eligible for placements in 4 th year while few are placed even in 3rd year itself. Till now almost more than 120 companies visited the college and 640 plus students placed in previous years. Companies including tcs, Wipro , genpact, Byjus, hyundai etc visited the campus. Most of the students got placed while few opt for their masters.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for an individual for bachelor of technology is around 86000 for all streams. College management doesn't provide much assistance but give quite a rewards for excellent students who showed their performance. Management also provides campus placements.

Campus Life

Vaagdevi campus is huge and spacious with quite a good environment. College management conducts events once in a while which may be technical or non technical. Vaagdevi college conducts a club viba managed by students , recently this club got gold medal in innovation expo conducted at Goa. There are also few quite a good number of sports fields including two libraries and digital libraries and computer labs etc.

Admission

Admission process can be done through writing an entrance examination which is either ts eamcet exam or sometimes they can consider intermediate or cbse marks or even jee mains percentile. Reservations are applicable as sc and st students given first priority. Application date for eamcet will open roughly in march to April months.

I will rate my curriculum 2.5 out of 5 stars.The syllabus covers the core subjects very well but it follows the old tradition with limited industry visits,It can be improved by adding more focusing on real world applications

Placement Experience:

From 3 -1 only students become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited for our college was Jpmorgan,google,microsoft,Infosys capgemini tcs etc.. The highest package in our college was 54 lpa from Microsoft and average packages were 5-10lpa the percentage of getting placements by students is 75% and my plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a MNC's.

Placement Experience:

My campus life and experience

Placement Experience:

Until know i got some info among the placements and internships is that yes, this college is providing campus placements good as some of the recent companies were Infosys, Capgemini,and other companies drive has been conducted in the college for the 4rth years. So the placements are good here no worrys too. But the LPA is less a bit like in the past years as the software industry is getting more hard to get jobs.

There are many companies costing the campus for recruitement like Accenture ,Infosys , keka , Accenture , infor etc and many other startup . They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . Accenture and cognisant will hire many students and there pay would be around 5 lakh per year for service roles . If they take for other roles then the salary is more 60-70% people get placed , some prefer doing masters even though they are placed

Vaagdevi College is Versatile!!

State Entrance score is mandatory as 60% in 12th for general students is enough to qualify. However, rankers between 2000-4000 get to study here as our college seats get filled quite fast due to its affordability.
