Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course for my family but I just fell in love with my course slowly. There will be a faculty for 60 students and our college overall strength is aroud 6000 students. Our faculty are highly qualified and mostly phd holders. Our college teaching policy is 'learning by doing'. Exams will be weekly assignment test ,monthly mid term exams and 2 semesters per year. It is not so difficult to pass if we follow teachers and text books.
Internships Opportunities
Our college core placement companies are TATA projects limited, JayaVijay groups ,ultratech limited and itcc offering roles of junior engineer, site manager, water resource management engineer, Transport engineer and designer. Projects like small buildings,roads,dam constructions , reasearch with teachers, working on projects with faculty is allowed and it is very usefull.
Placement Experience
students of 3 rd year 2nd sem and 4th year students are eligible for placment civil students . Placements will be on domain of construction, transpotation and water resource engineering domains. Average package will be around 6 lakhs. Around 50% percentage of students wll be placed. I plan to write GATE exam and study further.
Fees and Financial Aid
Education fees and hostel fee will be paid by government, We need to pay for mess and it will be 25,000 per year. Financial assistence will be given by college for acedemic activities and experiments. Some companies will provide internships with min 20000/month normally.
Campus Life
Our campus life is stress free as we have any things to refresh like yoga, classical dance, vocals, mridangam, NCC, NSS and sports like cricket, vollyball, softball, basket ball, foot ball and badmaintan. Our library is very large with so many books. Classroms will have projectors,lan connections and speakers.We have so many student bodies like SDCAC, HH, Ecrush, c.o.d.e and CDPC. Many of our college websites are developed and maintained by our students only.
Hostel Facilities
Our hostal consists of 3 floors and each floor with 100 rooms. Each room will be shared by 6 students. Each room consists 6 beds, cupbordes. Room are large enough for even 8 to 10 students. We have an Auditoriam and their will be movie every sunday. Mess food is tastey and hygenic. Hostel will be allocated at the time of college admission and college will be within the campud.
Admission
The admission process is very simplewe dont need to write any special entrence exam, Admission will be given based onstudents 10th class CGPA.You can find our college admission forms on our official web page (rguktv.ac.in) around the time of june and july.Application fee will be 2000rs. There is reservation in admissions for scheduled caste,sports and ncc students
