AMRITA UNIVERSITY A HIDDEN GEM FOR STUDENTS

BBA is an amazing course and i feel more connected to myself while studying the course. this is the reason i choose bba. the student faculty ratio is decent and follows the university guidelines, there is 1 teacher for every 15 students to mentor, and guide them personally. the class consists of 45 students during the lecture most of the faculty in the dept and the whoke university are phd scholars or currently pursueing phd, they use a plannes way of teaching methodology to make students understand the foundations of each subject the university follows a patter of one midtem examination and one fianl examination in a sem, there are 2 class tests and 3 major assignments to be compeletd in one semester

the college offers amazing internship opportunitues begining from sem 3, any students are eligible to apply for the intership opportunites and the student are allowed to take up the internship opportunities. recent internship opening was from DE SHAW CO with a stipend of 30000/month many companies like paypal, decathlon ect offered internsip opportunitues

the college offers amazing placement for students, the campus has an amazing well dedicated placement cell called as CIR( corporate and industry relation) the dept personally works with each student to gain placement. the CIR dept starts training students for placments from sem 3. the students are allowed to sit for placements from sem 5 onwards, whereas the students are given internship oppourtunitues from sem 3 there are vast number of companies visiting the campus such as DE SHAW, ACCENTURE, INFOSYS, GOLDMANSHACKS, CATTERPILLAR, VIPRO almost more than 100+ companies the highest package for our bacholors in commerce was 12lpa, the average package is 3-5lpa most of the students get placed during the placement rounds of upto 75% i will sit for placements and am sure of getting placed in good companies

the college follows a standard fees structure, the fees structure for the entire course is decided in the begining of the course, fees hikes are dependent on the university the fees for the course is very affordable when compared to other universities, and the return on investment is high compared to other institutions. the college accecpts all types of scholarships from national, state ( NSP, SSP) and other private or public scholarships. the college also accecpts bank loans, the candidate has to consult the administration and accounts dept for details

the college hosts a state level university fest called SATHGAMAYA in every even sem, ie during the month of may. the sencond most favaourable fest is the national level short film festival organised by the visual communication department, the third most important fest is the cultural synergy which involves cultural extravaganza the college has very well equiped library and one of the largest e library. students can access and renew books from the college website the classroom has a black board, projector system, speakers, wifi, pordium and decent seating arrangments the college has very well ecquped sorts arena whuch involves,gym, basketball ground, football ground, vollyball and throwball grounds, bandminton grounds, indoor sports rooms ect. there are specail trainers for each sports. there are regular intercampus tournaments around all the 7 amrita university campus in india there exist diffent cluns like AYUDH, MUSIC, SPORTS,DANCE,LITRERSRY,BUSINESS,ENTERPRENUERSHIP,MEDIA ect

the room is 3 sharing, it has one bathroom, and a common washroom in every floor. thers one table for each student and a storage boxfor each student. there is common chilling area and room, it also has study rooms. the meal in the campus is vegetarian and eggitarian. the colleg meal is decent but not amazing the registration process for the hostel is simple and easy, just have to follow the gudlines during admission process, yhe hostel is also affordable as the price is 40000 there are options for pg and rooms near college within 2-3 km radius. there are many pg and rooms available. many catering services are avilable for rooms as well

any student above 65% in there 12th are allowed to apply for the course, once the candidate applies he as to go through a small selection process, it includes some tests if necessary and one to one interview with the student. if the studebt passes the test and interview he is given the offer to study in the campus elegibility - minimum 65% in class 12 or any other precollege courses like diplomo ect application - one can directly visit the college for applying or apply through the official website (amrita.edu). the application fees was around 400 rupees. the college goes with first come first serve basis, who ever comes first and applies has more chances of getting into the college, once the application dates are closed one cannot apply for the course admission process is well defined and easy, there is no glitch in admission process and can be taken over easily
