Likes

I liked the library , staff and faculty , they are cooperative and well mannered
The infrastructure is mind blowing , Vendhar Knowledge Center is one of the best places in the college
Auditorium is very large , can hold approximately 900 students at a time.

Dislikes

Nothing till now , Internships and placements opportunities can be a lot better
College is a little bit crowded , as students from all disciplines get admitted here

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I was interested in the field of Computer Science. I loved doing coding. The course provided at the college is decent. The student faculty ratio lies between somewhere 10:1 and 20:1. All of the faculty at the college holdss atleast a post doctoral degree. They are well experienced , faculties have an average experience of atleast 15-20 years. The teaching method is very nice , they provide their own handwritten notes and discuss questions and theory with ppts on the smart board. Students can ask their doubts , offline or online whenever they want to. Approx 3 are conducted in one semester , CT1 , CT2 and Final University examinations , all three of them have their own weightage.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Adobe , Amazon , Honeywell , Microsoft , VMware , Bosch and mass recruiters including TCS and Wipro. Most of the students get hired by the mass recruiters , and some students , (100 in a 1000) go in the best companies at the on campus placements. I have not had any internship experience with this college as I am in the first year itself.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not seen any fee hike in the last 5 years , for completing a bachelor's degree of technology , upto 15 lacs are required including the hostels. I was given a 50% scholarship on the tuition fee. I got a loan from a bank to fulfill my educational expenses. I got internships and work through linkedin , the faculty and the management staff are cooperative and nice in every condtion . The course fee is quite a bit high for a college like this but okay!

Campus Life

There are many fests and techfests conducted at the campus. They are held between the months of september and august (next year). Freshers are conducted , annual fests are conducted too. There are 100s of thousands of books and journals available in the library

Admission

Candidate must have atleast 60% in 10th/12th board exams. Application form is available at srmist.edu.in. Entrance exam conducted is SRMJEEE . Application fees is 1200 for one phase. Application dates are generally from april to june. On the basis of ranks , scholarships are provided , to avail a scholarship of atleast 50% on the tuition fee, the candidate must get a rank below 500 in the first phase , the cutoff for scholarship keeps increasing with the number of phases the candidates write in one year

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Likes

Environment is good, the overall environment is calm
The hostel is good, it is hygienic and provides regular maintainence
The campus feels quiet safe and have good security with strict regulations

Dislikes

The network connectivity is not up to the mark
There are very less number of cultural events taking place in this college
Hectic study schedules which leaves no time for extra curricular activitoes

Placement Experience:

Placements of thos college is quiet good Many big companies provides internships and placements This year also quiet many students got placed TCS visited the campus for hiring Average packhage is 15 lakh per annum

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Life at SRM.

Likes

A good and friendly environment on campus where students from all around nearby cities and states stay together in harmony.
Interactive classes and faculty is also very supportive.
The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

I liked the faculties of my college they are very supportive and helpful towards the students.
I like the curriculum which more learning based then theory

I don't like the attendence system of our college it very hectic to students
There is lot of focus on exam in my college which I don't like
Syllabus are not updated in our college we are studying very old things

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

There are very good and highly qualified Faculties for each subject.
There is lot of clubs and groups which give exposure to the students.
Location of College is best in Greater Noida

Dislikes

There is little busy management and take time to respond query.
Highly busy schedule of college timings.
There can be delay in examinations from its expected date.

Placement Experience:

Placement in GCET is one of the good In greater Noida colleges. The average package of this college is 4-6 L.P.A. Companies like TCS, J.P Morgan, Josh Technology, L.G etc visited every year. Mass recruiters like wipro,infosys,capegemini also visited every year. About 85% students every year placed from the college. After getting degree my plans are getting very good placemnt from this college.

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced
The way the faculty is trying hard with the students is very good.
Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

Unveiling Campus Life and Academic Excellence

Likes

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

I applied for the JEE Mains exam but I had no preparation for it, I did no coaching for any engineering entrance exam, which lead to great anxiety during the JEE exam, this lead to me not achieving a great score in the exam. SRM University Ghazibad Review

Other colleges I applied are MM college CCS University, KN Miet and IP University. I choose this college over the others because I don't want to go far from my city and this is the only college that fulfilling my requirement.
