Course Curriculum Overview

I took admission in engineering with great enthusiasm but here I get nothing but the lazy faculty who didn't take our lectures. We don't know about the qualification of our faculty because they taught us sometimes. Our end sem are always 3 months late as compared to other universities.

Jiwaji University is government university due to which the fees is less as compared other institute and universities. Here, post metric scholarship is provided to sc, st and obc students and medhavi scholarship for general category.

Campus Life

There is no annual fest, tech fest and other cultural activities conducted by our institute. Our University have central library in which their are alots of books and have a good environment as well. Our doesn't provide any sports and extra curricular activities on the campus

Hostel Facilities

Hostels facilities are good enough but according to our fees it's not worth it. The food is nice in taste but boring sometimes because every sabji contains patato in it. First we have to fill the admission form for hostel and after sometimes hostels' faculty alotted the room. On the basis of affordability it is affordable.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

I took admission in Institute of Engineering, Jiwaji University Gwalior on basis of JEE. In JEE, i have secored 60 percentile. These college allotted by MP DTE counseling. Here eligibility of the course is nothing because you can take direct admission as well by paying some extra money

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved.The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches.The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Placement Experience:

Highesht package so far has been of 34 lakhs per annum and average though is 6 LPA. This average is considering all departments as for pur department it is of 10 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Tisco and Mindtree are some companies out of lets say 50 odd which shows up every year. My plan is to do an MBA program and i am preparing for CAT too.

You are eligible for this course after 12th. Application forms and application fees are payable only online. All admission procedures are only in online mode , can be done by any online cafe. Reservation benefits are available on the time of admission. Many reservation benefits are available like free books and stationery and fees concession. Exams are moderately difficult. Admission process is fully online , so sometimes the site doesn't work so don't wait for last minute done your all work before last date.
