Likes

The frequency of the examination makes it easier to cover the syllabus and pass the overall exams
From the recent years fest and youth functions have become more frequent
No matter what the package but this college will get you a job.

Dislikes

The overly strict exam regulation and curriculum as there are no retest and really strick action against a slightest of the confusion of any cheating or malpractice
Also there are no leverages provided to any student when it comes to attendance and you have to maintain 75% which sometimes stop you from many other productive opportunities

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to pursue btech and appeared for the SRM examination which was the best option near my locality as well. Faculty student ratio is good but many teachers are not teaching the subject they are meant to teach according to their department. Faculty are quite qualified here and they are above average. When it comes to examinations, my college is really strict and that too, to some not necessary extent. Examinations are held regularly and timely basis and the frequency of the examination per subject per semester is 4 times

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees has increased considerably after the year I joined, the freshers are paying about 300000 rupees per year. No job or internships are promoted in this college when it comes to leaves i.e no matter how good you internship is, the college does not allows you any leave from the college which means you have to maintain 75% attendance in the college

Campus Life

Rubaroo, khel etc are many fest and functions which are held in the college annually and they are frequent as well from the recent years. The library is also good with a huge range of books which are available. The classrooms are descently eqquiped with tech and furniture. There are many clubs and social groups that you can take part in but as the attendance is really strict, generally students do not get time to indulge in those stuff

Admission

You should be a 12 pass student with marks 75% and above, if you've given the JEE exam then also its a yes. SRM also has its own examination held every year as it is a private college. You can apply for the exam online through their website.

Interview Experience

The interview which was taken was very quick and simple, not much of an issue and you can pass them easily. The only required criteria is that you have to be a 12th pass student with minimum requied marks and the fees should be paid and you are good to go

Honest review of KCC college

Placement Experience:

The placement is very bad.mass recruiters like infosys and TCS come to the college . They offer a very low packages like 3 LPA .They also show very high packages for some students which are fake .You cannot expect a good package here .

RECM - Underrated but a great future ahead.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to appear for placement from seventh semester. In Civil Engg Dept 40 students enrolled for campus placement and 28 students were offered jobs till the final semester. L&T Infra, Tata Steel, Prism Cement, ACC Cement are some of the prime recruiters. Highest package offered was 7.5 lpa , lowest 4.2 lpa and median was 5.5 lpa. Profiles offered were Project Associate ,BIM Engineer, Site Supervisor, Area Head (Sales). 70% of students got placed in the first batch of this college from civil engg dept. Currently I am serving as Junior Engineer at DFCCIL (Railways).

Consider if you are preparing for any exam.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is not so active and here you will have to prepare for mostly the off campus placement for high paying packages otherwise the average package is 3LPA which may be not meet your expectations. The highest package from this college is off campus palcement. if you are a hardworker and have proper skills and knowledge you will deifnitely get placed . so my suggestion is that to also enjoy your college life but also be a hardworker and become a job creator.
