I liked the campus cleanliness and discipline.the infrastructure is very good along with its high class buildings.the placement is quite good in accordance to the collages of odisha .so it is advantageous.
Campus Life is very good and seniors are very supportive here.tye campus is also situated in the capital of bhubneswar.the faculty members are so good and supportive.it is very fine here my idea was right to choose this collage
I already explained why I liked the collage in brief and I don't find any other reasons .

Course Curriculum Overview

1.i choosed this btech because it offers a wide variety of opportunities in every field of occupation with a good amount of money. 2.here approx 300 faculties are there and the student is approximately 3000 so the ratio is 1 is to 10. 3.here most of the faculties of have completed there ohd and have a minimum teaching experience of 10 years.there teaching method is also good. 4.term exams were in perfect times around 2 months gap each.the paper was average to pass.

1.The fees cos me around 173k.for 1 year and 10 lakh approx for 4 years. 2.i didinot got any scholarships or stiphened because my family is quite well established. Amrit pritam mohanty ,brother's name Ankit pritam mohamty

Campus Life

1 annual fest is zygon which is conducted in February 2.every books and journals are available in library 3.classrooms are well equipped and cleaned with projectors in every classrooms. 4.a variety of sports are played and extra curricular activities a re obeserved. 5clubs such as meta academics,students council,are run by students.

Admission

1.Have to pass jee with minimum percentile of 75 in physics math and chemistry. 2.the application form was in the official page of silicon after I took the admission through ojee councelling.the application dates were 19 of August and the fees was 175k per year. 3.i didinot avail any reservation benifits. 4.i found the admission process quite good and easy.so I don't think any improvement is required

Our college give good placement but packages are very low package start with 150000 and end in 700000 . But you study properly then you try pursuing higher studies. 40% students placed but below 400000 . after completing you try off campus placement then you secured good salary on good company.

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Honest and Genuine review of NIT Rourkela

Placement Experience:

So the students become eligible for placemant usually from the 7th semester of the Btech which is from the 4th year and the internship opportunities are available from the 3rd year onwards that is from 5th and 6th semester. So in year 2024-25 the number of companies that visited The campus is around 330 And the total job offers offered is about 1200. So the highest package in the EC branch is about 1.2 crore per annum and the average package for the EC branch is around 13 to 14 lakhs. And the Profile of jobs are core electronics, VLSI and semiconductor roles ,system and embedded developments, software engineering, IT services, consulting and analytics. The percentage of student which are getting placed are in the range of 90 to 99% for ECE branch. The top recruiters are Apple Google, Microsoft, Amazon, wipro, Deloitte, Tata,Vedanta etc. After completing my degree in ECE from NIT Rourkela my plan is to join the core technology sector as a VLSI and semiconductor engineer in a reputed multinational Companies, leveraging the strong foundation and industrial exposure gained during my studies in case I do not secure a campus placement I aim to pursue the off campus opportunities in electronics, IT or analytics sectors. Alternatively I am open to perceive higher studies in MBA to specialize in the management sector.

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

NOT AN IDEAL COLLEGE BUT DEFINITELY DESCENT

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. I am planning for gate along with my degree.companies like Hpcl , cpcl, exon mobil usually come here for recruiting.
