My opinion on the college

I've choosen the course due to the passion on the commercial crops There are around 35 faculty in the college and the each section has 80&90 students there are 2 sections in each class The faculty qualification is PhD and the teaching method followed by most of the faculty is PPT and explanation for theory.Based on course some opt for field level observation and some opt for laboratory level observation for practical components The term exams are conducted for every semester during the 3 years. each semester have 110 working days after that semester final examinations will be conducted and the students can pass easily by concentrating on the important topics,covering the syllabus and refering the previous year question papers to know the type of questions being asked

The fee differs from semester to semester and academic years also. At the time of admission fee structure will be provided for that academic year and there is no hike on the fee after the fee structure first provided and the cost of study is around 20-25k per semester The scholarships are provided by icar for the students joined through icar and the jagananna Vidya deevana scholarship is provided by the government of Andhra Pradesh for white ration card holders We can also apply for study loans in the bank There's no campus placement that's the main con of this course

The annual fest every year sports meet will be conducted by the college during December January and selected students will be sent for intercollegiate University level sports meets. In this sports meet cultural and literary competition also there along with sports Freshers day will be conducted by the 2nd years to the 1st years joining into the course it's based on the admission of the freshers Books related to horticulture and agriculture are present in the Library and recent journals released on agriculture Also there. And competitive books also present for the students to prepare for competitive exams Amenities present in the classroom are benches fans lights, PowerPoint presentation equipped with speakers English club is there for the students to improve the fluency in English interested people can join

Intermediate or diploma horticulture students are eligible for this course AP EAPCET will be conducted for the admission into this course for intermediate students and Horticet for diploma students based on the scores obtained by the students Application form is available in online andhrapradesh government website Application fee is around 500 Application dates varies but maximum during March April No nee of improvement in the admission process It's already based on the cutoff of the students and it has reservations for SC ST BC EBC and women After the completion of exam students have to apply for the counseling when the ysrhu releases official notification and then they can opt the college of their choice in web options based on their marks category and region students will get seat in the college There are 3 phaes of counseling after counseling result the students are supposed to admit into the respective colleges within 3days otherwise the seat will be cancelled
