Remarks

The buildings are very old. They are built in the 1900's.the classroom are well equipped with projects, fans, light etc but the boarding facikity can be greatly improved. New buildings need to be built.

Ofcourse the course throws a major challenge to students. Every semester the students has to learn 10-12 subjects with both theory and practical components. The students are made to work in the field which is a good learning experience.

No agriculture graduate in India is jobless says a report. That shows the scope of this course. Agriculture is the major sector that's contributing to India gdp. So there's no point of unemployment. There's a employment cell in the college which holds records of the employment of students. They provide jobs in companied for the students.

College Events

Agricarnival, cultural meets, and technical meets. The agricultural carnival is the biggest event in the university. And even inter college agri carnival also happens. Evey year inter college sports meets and cultural meet is being conducted by the university. all the games including both field games and net games are included.every year there will be a heavy competition for these sports.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since the admissions is through government conducted entrance examinations.the fees of the course is very less. The fee rangeds from 8000 to 11000 per semester. And students who are eligible for fee remisbursement can get back the paid fee. Compared to other colleges the tuition fee is this university aswell as college is less. It is affordable. The students have to bear hostel charges of rs. 3500 per month.

Only the govt scholarships are given.The students who are selected into this course through ICAR examination are also provided a special scholarship of 2500 rs /month provided the student scores a minimum grade point of 7.0 in every semester.

Campus Life

there's no gender and caste discrimination in the campus. All the students with different economic background comes to college. Most of the students are from farming background.there's no money culture in the college. There's no female abuse reported till date. This is a very safe college for girls too

Hostel Facilities

The hostel are government buildings. So to be honest they arent hifi type. The buildings are old. The mess is a student managed type. All the students together will decide the menu and pay according to their choices.

Alumni/Alumna

The college conducts alumni meets often. all the old students and pass outs come to the event. All their career positions are announced in the function. All the staff and students attend the function.

Admission

The entrance into this college is through engineering and medical common entrance test (eamcet) which is held by andhrapradesh govt and also by ICAR EEE UG examination. The students who are selected into this course through ICAR examination are also provided a special scholarship of 2500 rs /month provided the student scores a minimum grade point of 7.0 in every semester. The speciality of this course is that the students will learn all the farming techniques over the period of 4 years.

Faculty

this college has the best faculty. Till date this college has even produced many civil servants. This happened because of the learning atmosphere in the college and the dedication of the staff. The staff teachers are highly qualified.with each of them holding a minimum qualifications of Phd in the respective courses and even some scientist turned teachers also there. Their experience helps students a lot and they can be great mentors.

Fromthird year last semister they used to get placements . But placements are very less in our college due to government University . Mostly the Banking sectors jobs the students will get . The highest package is around 8lpa Average is around 3-4lpa Very less percentage mostly used to prefer for government jobs and higher studies My plans is to go for higher studies

There should be more classes in the practical than in the theory. students are only studying and forgetting because they only study but if they practically learn they will remember so the theory should be reduced and practical should be increased.there should be 20 days for mid exams and nearly 40 days for practice and sem final exams nearly 2 months are only for exams.
