Course Curriculum Overview

4

Because I've heard that agriculture is a good course and that interest in farming led me to take this course thou. This curriculum prepared us for the real world facing main problem in agriculture..the areas for improvement are jobs and opportunities should be more for this course..and the frequency of exams are per sem mid , practical and sem are conducted..

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees I've paid for my semester is 70000 as it is private college affiliatef under Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University and they have also included lab fees tour fees other many charges in the fee which we did not opt anytime

Campus Life

4

The fests are nothing conducted in our college...Our dean doesn't allow fests to be conducted.the range of books ade upto 500-1000 books can be available in library..the facilities of classroom are good along with projector and screen to explain visually..the sports activities are less compared to other colleges.clubs are not there in our college.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel provides a comfortable and secure stay for students within the college premises. Rooms are usually shared (5 members per room) with adequate ventilation, lighting, and basic furniture like cot, study table, chair, and cupboard. Each room is equipped with fans, plug points, and regular cleaning services. The hostel has common washrooms, also available in hostels.. The hostel mess provides both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals. The food quality is decent and hygienic, though the taste may vary occasionally. The menu generally includes rice, dal, curry, curd, and chapati, with special dishes served on weekends or festivals. The registration process is done through the college administration at the time of admission. Allotment is based on availability and merit. Hostel fees are affordable, covering room, electricity, and mess charges on a semester or yearly basis.

Admission

The other colleges i applied to are government colleges in agriculture..but I couldn't get a seat there as my rank was high..since I've heard in all the private colleges this is good I opt for this college.the admission process is we attend to a counselling procedure and then by the rank they chose

Faculty

3

The faculty are about 20 -30 in our college..the faculty student relationship is good and they are very approachable..the name of faculty I liked are nagaraj sir and kavya ,jessica mamm.they teach very well.some of them i didn't like because of their partiality nature with students.exams such as mid practical and sem are conducted

Night Life

4

There's gym ,cafeteria library but only upto a certain period that is evening which differs with girls timings also.Hostel timings for us boys is anytime allowed which is not there like that for girls famous hangout places is that it is a small town so we juss go out and eat and come..the locality is safe by the way

Many prefer to pursue higher studies than placements in this course. Many Agriculture related companies are involved in the placement. Placement percentage around 50%. After the degree, I plan to go for MBA in agri business management.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There should be more classes in the practical than in the theory. students are only studying and forgetting because they only study but if they practically learn they will remember so the theory should be reduced and practical should be increased.there should be 20 days for mid exams and nearly 40 days for practice and sem final exams nearly 2 months are only for exams.
