Campus life at YSRHU

Likes

Good quality of infrastructure, including campus amenities and learning facilities
Good number of fields and practical learning through elp. Nice laboratory facilities.
Surrounded by pleasant environment and nature.

Dislikes

Placement services bit poor, needed little improvement

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exposes the students to the practical aspects of learning, in fields, labs, etc. The Greenery also adds scenic beauty to the campus. Industrial visits and nursery visits also help the students.

Likes

Campus environment is very good with full of greenery and with proper sanitation and maintenance is very good
Hostels also clean with required facilities and mintain prior hygiene
Security is very good for the hostellers

Dislikes

No placements are provided and no internship opportunities.
Hostel mess is average and the food is not so good as per the money we pay .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm interested in farming sector as the India is a agriculture based country so I choose to take this course The areas of improvement must be to provide good placements,conduct placement drives and provide sufficient internship opportunities . After the graduation it is difficult for us to get any job apart from doing pg,PhD .

Likes

Ground hostel and environment besides this college is peaceful
Good staff and activities are done very good
Sports meets that are conducted are very useful

Dislikes

Timing restriction and food restrictions
Roads and college is not updated as other outer colleges
No cultural functions and parties no stipends on time

Placement Experience:

Placements are there but are of low packages. We got package of 3 lacs per annum by some private companies for marketing purposes Mainly marketing jobs are offered by the companies that came for placements

Likes

Garden area near ground is very peaceful to mind
College roads are best for photoshoot with trees
Hostel is great to stay along with friends

Dislikes

There is no auditorium for celebrations in college
We have to take permission for outings except on sunday
girls hostel has strict restrictions to go home

Course Curriculum Overview:

1st I wanted to study medicine but I didn't qualify for that exam then I love plants that's why I have decided to study this course the college faculty is very nice and they provide good knowledge through the ppt presentation. There are 2 semesters every year each semester quiz, theory mid, practicals, and theory final are there.

Likes

Playground is very big and i love the most in our college
Faculty members are very friendly with us .They will clarify each and every doubt

Dislikes

Mess food is not good and also quality was not good
Placements are not provieded in our college

Course curriculum is good and faculty members are very friendly . Our college is provided with projectors through which faculty can explain us in detail everything.Exams are conducted Semester wise .

Golden days

Basically I like the nature & environment around my college sometimes we engaged practically in the fields moreover my teachers will teach a lot in the classes and fields too many different topics are involved in my course I enjoyed while practically
I felt very great about myself while harvesting the yield from the fields which are sown with my own hands
I really proud of myself for studying about the nature which is a gift given by God to humans

Dislikes

Washrooms are not good in my college I felt very bad and disgusting while using the toilets
College canteen and bookstore is not there when I was in first & second year
There is no online mode payment of fees in my college

Because I'm interested in agriculture For each section there is 10 lectures for 10 courses so the ratio would be like this 10:85 They all done PhD in their specification For every 2 months & daily review of the lectures help us easy to pass

Facilities which are provided in our college are good
They encourage sports and extra curricular activities along with studies

Because I was interested in horticulture crops I wanted to know in detail and study about those crops and everything.faculty: student ratio was 1:5.They completed their PhD in their respective coarses.Teaching was very good.We also have virtual class,and ac class room facilities.Sem exams were conducted for every 4 months.Those exams were moderate to pass

Likes

Campus environment is one of the beautiful thing
Quality of food in mess is one of the thing
Juniors and seniors interaction is too good

Dislikes

Irregular maintenance of hostels like boys hostel
Teaching method is one of the major problem
Maintenance of washrooms and toilets is to worse
