College provides all the amenities to the students which are required for them.
For me college management gives a scholarship according to the inter marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is a specialization in computer science field that is data science, it covers few additional topics compared to computer science stream including subjects like big data analytics, advanced databases, etc. The faculty also very specialised and experience faculty who are well qualified in their fields even the head of the department takes class for students. The term exams were average not hard not loose.

Placement Experience

College provides campus drives after consulting a few companies to visit the college. Compared to the previous years the no of students placed in the college decreased. In recent times Genpact which established a branch in the local city offered 42 placements at 4.2 lpa. I plan to go on to higher education to complete my master's. Companies like Amazon, TCS, Wipro, Genpact, Capgemini, Infosys, Hyundai, byjus, etc visited for campus drive. The highest package is around 10 lpa and the average is around 3.4 lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for general students is around 86k for an academic year, we have to pay an additional tuition fee for a year and an exam fee for each sem. The college management runs a placement cell to overview the placements and internships section and discuss them with students. College management provides 25k for the students who secured more than 95 percent in the intermediate level.

Campus Life

Life on campus was much normal. The infrastructure is good enough to attract the outers and parents. Events happen once in a while not regularly in summer there may be a chance to conduct an event every year. The college provides all amenities like wifi campus, auditorium, and sports fields like cricket, basketball, volleyball, badminton, etc, a student can access the computer lab anytime they want. There are a few clubs like IEEE and some others conducted by students.

Admission

Admission can be done through web options and select this college after counseling of eamcet exam. The cut-off for the CSD branch is around 70 to 90k rank. Otherwise you can join through the management quota if you didn't write the eamcet exam. The admission application can be available at ts higher education website.

Decent college with good facilities

Placement Experience:

From 4th year 1st semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. About 10-15 companies visited our college with minimum 3 lpa. And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 . My plans after getting degree is work in a reputed mnc.

Placement Experience:

Generally, students from 3rd year second semester are eligible for the placements. some, who are interns at a company earns the place to proceed for the rest of life. some others should try harder because they didnt get the internship. It is important to get internship. Companies do visit vasavi such as visa, silicon labs, cisco and more to pick interns or to pick engineers. percentage around 60-70 gets placed every year. Actually placements decreased after the recession.

Vaagdevi College is Versatile!!

State Entrance score is mandatory as 60% in 12th for general students is enough to qualify. However, rankers between 2000-4000 get to study here as our college seats get filled quite fast due to its affordability.
