Course Curriculum Overview

I chose B.Tech biotechnology as I was passionate about biology and drug discovery. We had 1 professor handling a class of about 40-50 students and this helped us with interaction. All the professors were either working on their PhD or were already awarded PhD. Exams were conducted meticulously every semester.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Placement Experience

Students who do not have any arrears are eligible from the last semester for campus placement. Various companies offer placement in our program. I was placed in Zifo Technologies with a starting package of 4.3 lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee hikes were reasonable and the cost to study was affordable. I did not avail of any scholarship while in college however, I did get placed through the college placement program. This is a huge step up.

Campus Life

We had the annual tech fest called Mindkraft in the first year I was in college. From there on, we had department-specific fests in the upcoming years. The library was always stocked with books of all genres and this was very relevant to our courses. We had projectors and blackboards in the classrooms to aid learning. Additionally, we had a lot of lab facilities. I was a part of the Rotaract club in Karunya and the experience was amazing.

Hostel Facilities

We had bunk beds and our own tables in the hostel along with separate cupboards. In the hostel campus we had shops like fast food, restaurant, beauty parlour etc. the meals provided in the hostel we're of good quality. I registered for the hostel along with the college application.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

I had given JEE mains and received a mail from the college once the result was out. We paid the initial amount saved the seat in the course and received provisional admission. Upon joining the college later in the year, the full amount was paid.

Beyond the classes: My College Experience

Placement Experience:

Our college is well known for its placements. Almost many MNC companies like Amazon,TCS, visit our college and recruit the top performing students.Students are instructed to do 30 days of internship in remote,hybrid or industrial online before their 6th semester.During the 7th semester, students become eligible to attend the placements. The highes package offered previous year was 21 lakhs per annum and the average package is around 5 lakh per annum. Here students receive 3 options 1. Placement 2. Masters 3. Government Exams . As far off noe, 98%percentage of students who opt for placements get placed. I want to get placed after finishing my degree.
