My College

I want to be a software engineer. The average teacher-to-student ratio is 11:60 Some teachers are mtech, and some others have a doctorate and PhD as well. Exams were easy to pass, instead, the classes were to be properly taken from the exam point of view at the time of exams.

The college doesn't provide such internships with a stipend. I have done my internship at i-Team Mananthavady on the topic 'web development and computer hardware', which was a 1-month internship program. My internship experience was a good one compared to those who went for a 1-week internship.

From 6th sem onwards start registering placements. By the start of the 7th sem, companies will conduct aptitude tests all the up to the interview. Currently, 3 companies have visited, UST Global, Acsia, and Speridian.

My fee per year is 50000 + additional. I didn't opt for a college bus, hostel etc. Also, I don't have any scholarship or anything. The college provides financial assistance for those who are below the poverty line.

Now, the tech fest, NSITE 2023 is over. Arts fest will be conducted in even semesters. Our library has almost good collection. The college doesn't support sports, instead, they take classes for those who don't participate.

The admission process involved submitting an online application form, paying the required application fees, and providing the necessary documents. Eligibility criteria were outlined on the official website, and I found the application form, fees, and dates there too. I didn't avail of reservation benefits, so I can't provide details on that. The process was generally smooth, but improvements could include clearer communication on key dates and a more user-friendly online portal.
