Course Curriculum Overview

Our college has highly qualified faculties. Our faculties are friendly and supportive to the students and provide good teaching. There are two internal exams conducted during every semester. The teaching process is very good

Internships Opportunities

Internships should be done by third and fourth years by the students. Internships are not provided by the collage. Projects should be done in third and fourth year. It promotes skills to create projects.

Placement Experience

Our college provide placement programs and many more oppurtunities for the students to be placed in good companies. 80 percent of the students are placed every year with high skills. After the completion of my degree i am plsnning to go for higher studies

Fees and Financial Aid

Colleges provide scholarships to the students. The fee structure ranges from 35000 to 100000 per year. Egrantz provides scholarship for the students. There are many campus jobs provided by different companies

Campus Life

National Tech Fest is conducted every year during even semesters by the college. Our library provides good quality books for all the students for their studies. There are sports and extracurricular activities provided by the college

There are offline and online admission processes. The admission form is provided by the college. There are reservation benefits for SC st obc categories. I have joined here by qualifying keam exam with a good rank

IIIT KOTTAYAM - a Honest review

Placement Experience:

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Placement Experience:

Students normally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (3rd year). TIST has ties with many companies that visit the campus for placement drives every year. Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

IIST - A good campus to live but with high restrictions.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is there in the campus.A lot of companies visit to the campus. From this year more private companies are visiting because of the breaking of bond with ISRO due to which students are getting good package.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
