Course Curriculum Overview
I was passionate about helping people and this seemed to me as my best opportunity to serve them. The faculty-student ratio was average, that is faculties were available but the student count was on a bit higher side. The teachers were MSC qualified their teaching method was good and I was able to grab the knowledge given by them. Exams were taken on a monthly basis type and they were tough to pass.
Internships Opportunities
The college provided self-internship opportunities and it was one of the best ways to gain knowledge about the subject. The practical knowledge was given by our seniors and it made me learn many many things about being a nurse and what is the best way to treat a patient.
Placement Experience
In the last year, only the students were eligible for campus placements. "Apollo", " KGMU" and self-placement at the college are always available. The package ranged from 1.2lpa to about 2.4lpa and is a good opportunity to get placement. The percentage of placement is about 95% and above. I have planned to get placed in the era itself and then study further for a master's degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
My fee was 1,29,000 and it was a bit high from my perspective. But there was no such hike in the admission fees and it was constant throughout my 4 years course. I didn't apply for the scholarship but many people in my knowledge did avail the benefits of the scholarship.
Campus Life
Annual fest was the best part of the campus life. There were many fests like "nutritional mela" And "Udgosh" Where students could come enjoy and also gain knowledge about many things. The library was a place where we could find any book related to our course. The books were available in a pile-type manner and anyone could have them to study.
Admission
The eligibility was that the student should have taken bio and English in the intermediate examination. The application form was available online and offline. I didn't avail of any reservation benefits because I didn't apply for them but the person who applied was able to avail of them. I don't want to see any improvement as such in the admission process.
Interview Experience
Yes, there was a personal interview and it was used as a basis to judge the knowledge of students. The questions were subject-based and in English. The questions were mainly asked from biology and English fields. For the preparation, I just revised my concepts and knowledge of intermediate and tenth levels and it was sufficient.
