I chose this course to get some advantages in government exams. The faculties at Haridwar University is very friendly and very supportive. They are always there to help us out. PhD holder faculties are also there. Exams are held on time.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 69200 per year

Placement Experience

In the final year, all of the students are eligible for campus placements. Sales and marketing companies come to the campus to provide placements. The average package is 5 lakhs which can differ as per the course.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee is 69200. The fee of this college is very affordable. To study BSc agriculture one has to pay 69200 per year and the course is of 4 years. I was also provided with scholarships of 5000 per year as per my academic results.

Campus Life

Utkarsh is the only college fest that takes place every year in the month of April at the university. Singers like Sunanda Sharma, Ninja, and Hardy Sandhu have come to play in the event. Sports week is my favorite week. The books are there in the college library.

Admission

There was no entrance exam to get admission to the college. The process was really very simple and not complex. All of the required steps were done through a phone call. All of the necessary information regarding admission.

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem they were getting opportunity to having a seat in placement. Probably there are 5-8% got placements of about 4 lakhs to 6 lakhs per annum in agriculture. My plans are to grow my own business.

There are several companies visited like Patanjali, Syngenta, Iffco, Dabur, Baer, etc. You can easily get 2.7 L.PA to 12.8 L.PA. Around 80% of students get placed. After completing the degree I will go for agriculture food officer.

In the final year or last semester, the student is eligible for campus placement, not at all courses placement is available, professional courses the eligible, but all the degree is valuable because it is gov. College. You have to maintain a percentage in every semester for getting a placement minimum of 65%. My plans after my degree are to do MSC.agriculture.
