Campus is available for all the students of different places

College some times feels boring due to some certain rules of mandatory uniform etc
Canteen does not have all the foods and amenities

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is average except the few which are countable all are just below the line for the qualification as faculty. Even the lab faculty also just for namesake knowing nothing but minor things. Sometimes the curriculum is also outdated adding non-technical subjects to the course. Sem exams happen at regular intervals of 5months

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 86000 per year

Placement Experience

There is an active placement cell in Vaagdevi College which takes the details of the 3rd year students and posts the available internships and job vacancies. The highest package in the previous year is 10 lakhs and the lowest is 1.4 lakhs. Wipro, Amazon, Hyundai, TCS, Genpact etc participate in campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee amount is 86000 but after the reimbursement bc, students have to pay 51000 while SC and St get full fee reimbursement. And the government also provides some scholarships. College management provides some financial assistance, especially in 1st year

Campus Life

3.5

College life apart from studies is quite normal. There are regular events, but one or two for 3 months. Sports facilities are available on campus, but the management has no facilities are very poor. The classroom is good the campus has a Wi-Fi facility.

Admission

The majority of the students go join the college through the entrance exam Eamcet. Or few can join through the college management or can apply for a seat through the college website www.vaagdevi.edu.in and join the college

I will rate my curriculum 2.5 out of 5 stars.The syllabus covers the core subjects very well but it follows the old tradition with limited industry visits,It can be improved by adding more focusing on real world applications

Placement Experience:

From 3 -1 only students become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited for our college was Jpmorgan,google,microsoft,Infosys capgemini tcs etc.. The highest package in our college was 54 lpa from Microsoft and average packages were 5-10lpa the percentage of getting placements by students is 75% and my plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a MNC's.

I would 3 out of 5 because only the basic they thought in every college while getting the job they ask advance concept but I can that the course curriculum has improved now and they are preparing students for further jobs. Placement Experience:

My campus life and experience

Placement Experience:

Until know i got some info among the placements and internships is that yes, this college is providing campus placements good as some of the recent companies were Infosys, Capgemini,and other companies drive has been conducted in the college for the 4rth years. So the placements are good here no worrys too. But the LPA is less a bit like in the past years as the software industry is getting more hard to get jobs.

There are many companies costing the campus for recruitement like Accenture ,Infosys , keka , Accenture , infor etc and many other startup . They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . Accenture and cognisant will hire many students and there pay would be around 5 lakh per year for service roles . If they take for other roles then the salary is more 60-70% people get placed , some prefer doing masters even though they are placed

Vaagdevi College is Versatile!!

State Entrance score is mandatory as 60% in 12th for general students is enough to qualify. However, rankers between 2000-4000 get to study here as our college seats get filled quite fast due to its affordability.
