Remarks
They should not bother about attendance until and unless students marks are good. Focus on new technologies rather than theories.
Entrance Preview
I have appeared for AIEEE and secured 59164 rank. This college provided good scope of study as well as placement.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is composed of regular lectures, labs, sponsored workshops, and exams. One can explore the research work with respective professors in well equipped labs. Companies like Microsoft, IBM, Mahindra etc have set up labs to experience real time projects.
Internships Opportunities
Companies for internship visit to campus but very less opportunities. Since holidays are less and classes start early, college is also not providing complete support.
Placement Experience
Placement scenarios are very good for Computer and IT companies. There would be around 8000 students to compete, out of which 2000 will be serious to get the job. People are less competitive so chances are more to get placed in normal MNCs. Big MNCs would come but college management would filter out students based on Graduation CGPA. But overall, placement is good if you want to work in IT sector.
College Events
There are lots of technical, cultural, management festivals celebrated. It may be organized twice in a year. People from whole state comes to compete. However, the level of competitions are not at par. It should focus on research work rather than just making college name.
Fee Structure And Facilities
In early sessions, fees were affordable. Now they have made some stiff rules for fees and comparatively too huge amount to be spent on some courses. If one has paid the fees with delay, again the issue for admit cards for semester exams starts. They need to rectify this section.
Fees and Financial Aid
They provide scholarship based on merits as well as some State backward category quota, for BC. There is provision for scholarship for SC/ST as well. They assist in getting scholarship if one is applying through their own state.
Campus Life
Campus life is good. There are no ragging. There many clubs for extracurricular, labs, sports, competitions such as robotics, debates etc. Students ratio is good. No any discriminations as of now. There are no politics involved. There are lots of things to explore in campus.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities and mess food are very good. This is the only section which is too good. They charge expensive amount but it provides good food and all facilities. There will be shared rooms, 4 in a room. Washroom needs to share as well in both corners of the floor. Food quality and a menu are good.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is too weak and poor. Since college never put some Alumni meet for alumni, there is no chance of getting in touch with college.
Exam Structure
Exams will be each month, i.e., Mid Sem. Then semester exams twice in a year. Exams are not hectic but sometimes attendance becomes an issue. Students are debarred to sit for exams. However, maintaining 75% attendance is not a tough task. But if you fail in an exam, its all about money for the whole semester to be paid again.
Admission
Earlier, at my admission time in 2011, it was through PTU state counselling and I applied for that and got seat here for Computer Science Branch. Nowadays, university has own way of notifications and entrance as well. Once notification is up, you can apply online.
Faculty
The faculty for engineering is well versed with the theoretical subjects. However, one has to be dependent on self-study but overall they provide all support they can extend. Lab faculties are good but they can be better. They should focus on Real-time projects rather than theory mug up!
