Remarks

I am satisfied with the college But I am not ok with the University . however the College management is trying to do autonomous college is fyn but still they can increase there standards in every aspect

Entrance Preview

I took CET but I got more ranking, as my category was general merit I had no chance to get there .I joined don Bosco through management kota.My cousins ,some of my seniors and family friends were studying there ,they had positive response about there college so they also guided me about campus interview and all which I felt like joining there

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

When it comes to research faculty will provide there intelligence, experience and time to there highest possibility for students.there is a good equipped laboratories for all the fileds or courses,The students have a good set of opportunities to utilise, all they need to have is subject knowledge and there interest in research , many students are placed for there research in Don Bosco

Internships Opportunities

I don't know much about internship because I am still in 3rd year ,As per the seniors they have said it is own decision of a student to do internships

Placement Experience

2.5

The college is quite huge covering over 36acres soo there would be many companies coming over there mainly as usual and as elsewhere the TCS, TechMahindra and etc such companies would obviously be present over here for placements but I believe the students here can easily secure jobs at companies paying better packages also

College Events

3.5

Every even semester there will be a fest ,sports , nss blood camp etc many competitions will be held The interested students take part in this actively ,many inter college competitions are held, many celebrities will come as guest ,many students are noticed in the cultural event.Overall cultural events impression is good in Don Bosco

Fee Structure And Facilities

Engineering package for 4yrs varies based on the branch we select My branch is computer science I know the fees status about computer branch Package for computer science is 5,80,000 1st year it will be 1,60,000 remaining 3 years we need to pay 1,40,000

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a scholarship availability as a token of encouragement and from government also there is a scholarship availability for minority people

Campus Life

4

There is no gender ratio here most of the students are from different states . faculties won't treat different ,It's left to the student mind set but there is no partiality something like that as I have seen so far .my most of the friends are from North India

Hostel Facilities

3

I don't stay in hostel few of my friends stay as per there opinion I am going to share the review on hostel and canteen . Hostel is neat and clean with basic amenities like WiFi ,gym ,etc. There hostel wardens are quite strict. Food is manageable .Here hostel is not for people who think of privacy and freedom

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni members are invited for every function held in the college. The alumni network is very good.seniors are friendly and more supportive .

Exam Structure

Don Bosco is affiliated to visvesvaraya technological University. The university is not proper when it comes to result and preparing the syllabus, the most corrupted University nowadays when it comes to college they teach the syllabus provided by vtu and they conduct 3 internals for theory and 3 internals for lab finally there will be exam. question paper is set by the University and the answer sheets are corrected by the University people

Admission

i went to admission cell in the college I enquired about the management quota , they gave me detailed information regarding fees structure for 4 years. I discussed in the home regarding fees structure they were ok with it .we had to submit some documents like puc marks card ,SSLC marks card ,TC's (original) which they keep it with them until we finish the course, then they give it back to us .I paid my fees amount through demand draft (DD).Thats how I got my admission to Dbit (Don Bosco institute of technology)

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
