Course Curriculum Overview

I'm interested in that course and I want to become a civilian service officer. Very good faculty are there and all are MSC graduates and experienced faculties. The teaching methods were good and understanding. Exams are very clearly time with the passage of time break.

Class Size: 56Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee was very low compared to other colleges. 135000 lakh is much less compared to other colleges which have a minimum of 175000 lakh. Karnataka students have many types of scholarships. Some fee discount scholarships are available for Karnataka students.

Campus Life

The annual fest is a very exciting and great experience, they conduct once in month, different types of fests. The library is available for students freely and all types of books are available. Some social clubs are available.

Admission

Eligibility is Pass 12th with 60% in PCB. We can find it on their website srinivasuniversity.com. Yes, very good college and admission process, Very good management also, good in sports and culture also, college life is better.

My Regret of joining St George School of Business.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Semester 4, my course included the concepts of Radioactivity which has been a fascinating topic for me, and wanting to learn that aspect pf chemistry was a reason that lead me to choose this course. the curriculum is not sufficient or up to date for current further academic pursuits. the course curriculum should include more scientific instruments commonly used in labs and the teachers could preferably be more positive with their attitude and create an atmosphere where learning is chased. where the teaching doesn't feel like they're just doing their job and finishing their hours by reading ppts off a laptop. the exams themselves are fair and well prepared. perfectly balanced to score based on how much you've learnt.

Placement Experience:

From final year the students can apply for the placements. At least 60% should be there to be eligible for the placement. Many companies provides placements in this college like infosys, Accenture, Mahindra and many more. The average package as per the company is 200000 per annum and the highest package is 700000 per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to go to abroad for my post graduate.

Placement Experience:

Usually there are placements in our college. If any student does not get a placement the faculty guide us what we can do next like the companies in which we can apply and how we can go further. In my course after finishing the bachelors degree you can further study masters it is available in our college itself or yoj can aplly for companies but if you do your masters you have a better opportunity and high posts for you better career. The course is of 8 semester you become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. The last year that is seventh and eighth semester is basically practical and lot of projects provided. There various companies are seniors have applied and offered for example the genetic company in Bangalore that is Med gen. The highest package offered is 50000 and the average starts from 25000 placements in college. There is 75 percentage of students getting placements from our college. My plans after getting the degree is to go for further studies and do the masters after that i would like to do job along with my phd, this is my plan after getting my bachelors degree.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists
