Course Curriculum Overview

The course and curriculum cover the basics and give a foundation to the students. The faculty is also good not poor not excellent but decent. I choose this course according to the present situation. For every sem, there are mids and main exams.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 86000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

From the end of the 3rd year, students are eligible to attend campus placements. Companies visit colleges and select the students. Genpact has recently visited and selected 42 students. Very few students have been placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is 86000 for our batch and later it is increased to around one lakh. College students get reimbursement and scholarships from the government. The campus also provides campus placement for students. Students have to pay some extra fee for exam fee

Campus Life

Campus Life is simple and normal. Fests and events take place at long gaps. College classroom has projectors for smart teaching. The campus also has a library, digital library, computer laboratory, basketball field and so on.

Hostel Facilities

The college provides a hostel facility only for girls not for boys. Girls hostel is situated inside the college campus with normal features. The food is average not the best. Students have to register in college. For boys, there are hostel and rooms available.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

The admission process starts with an entrance examination Eamcet. The eligibility is student have to complete their intermediate education. Reservation is applicable according to the caste. The application form is available on the Internet.

I will rate my curriculum 2.5 out of 5 stars.The syllabus covers the core subjects very well but it follows the old tradition with limited industry visits,It can be improved by adding more focusing on real world applications

College Diaries

Placement Experience:

From 3 -1 only students become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited for our college was Jpmorgan,google,microsoft,Infosys capgemini tcs etc.. The highest package in our college was 54 lpa from Microsoft and average packages were 5-10lpa the percentage of getting placements by students is 75% and my plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a MNC's.

Placement Experience:

My campus life and experience

Placement Experience:

Until know i got some info among the placements and internships is that yes, this college is providing campus placements good as some of the recent companies were Infosys, Capgemini,and other companies drive has been conducted in the college for the 4rth years. So the placements are good here no worrys too. But the LPA is less a bit like in the past years as the software industry is getting more hard to get jobs.

There are many companies costing the campus for recruitement like Accenture ,Infosys , keka , Accenture , infor etc and many other startup . They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . Accenture and cognisant will hire many students and there pay would be around 5 lakh per year for service roles . If they take for other roles then the salary is more 60-70% people get placed , some prefer doing masters even though they are placed

Vaagdevi College is Versatile!!

State Entrance score is mandatory as 60% in 12th for general students is enough to qualify. However, rankers between 2000-4000 get to study here as our college seats get filled quite fast due to its affordability.
