What Students Say

Likes

The library is very big and we can easily find any information we want.
The college has a nice canteen which offers nice food at affordable cost.
The sports department is also very big and has gyms, table tennis court, volleyball court and many other sports facilities.

Dislikes

Some faculties are not at all cooperative and show biasing towards students.
Stray dogs are present all around the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

A bachelor's degree in computer science as well as statistics has the potential to provide good job opportunities in the future. Hence I have chosen this course. The faculties are well educated and qualified. The digital as well as physical means of teaching make their teaching very understandable. The semester exams are conducted once in every six months, namely in November and April. The difficulty level is quite high and the pass percentage is 40%.

Class Size: 15Course Fees: INR 4500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are increased every year but the course remains affordable. The cost to study per year is under 10000. All the scholarship schemes are available for financial assistance of the students. Currently, jobs and stipends are not available for undergraduate students.

Campus Life

The annual fest is named UMANG. It is held around the month of January every year. The library is very big and has a lot of books and journals. There are books for each subject and all topics. The classrooms and labs are also equipped with nice amenities. The labs have many latest equipment and resources, and the classrooms also have nice ventilation and acoustic. There are various extracurricular activities taking place all the time. Clubs like LACF and NSS, etc. organize many stage shows, drives, and many other activities.

Admission

Students who have passed 12 standards are eligible for the course. The application form application fees and dates can be found on the official College website. It is www.iscnagpur.ac.in. reservation is available for all the categories. I have got the benefits for the OBC category. The admission process can be improved by applying more automation in the process as the place gets too crowded at the time of admission.

A good choice for bachelors study for regular BSc

Course Curriculum Overview:

The first year curriculum connects SSC and HSC syllabus making easier to approach further. The course can be divided into two as aspects of application and academic first the general theory course of animals including phylum study and the another goes with lab work techniques making it suitable for higher studying in both lab and field work. The three year course must be provided with free subject choice as per the new education policy (no compulsion for physics and chemistry) Slight improvement in planning feel experience in field tours and outcomes. Do mostly well planned but sometime the exam schedule of different subject choices students in first and second year of course can make a difficult for on time study required before exam.

Teaching methods were good by some professors but one professor taught from ppt only. 2 and half hour for each exam and 60 marks paper all subjective no mcq as such. Practical exam is 150 marks including lab work , journal, viva voce.

A few negative effects are debt, partying, sexual assault, missing family and friends, and stress. My hollistic experience

As far as I am concerned the admission process is comparatively simple from other universities. The first process would be the same everywhere i.e. making the login I'd in the portal. The second stage is applying to different colleges in universities. I applied for the Institute of Science Nagpur, it was through Google Forms and was simple to understand.
