There are many Opportunities available for students
There are many clubs for students. Students can join them as their interest
There are sports also available for the students.

Dislikes

The size of the campus is small may be when shifted to bigta campus it will not be the issue
The exams are happening time to time so there is a difficult in time management

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this course because I am from the general category and my jee percentile was 96.116 percentile so I can get only this. There is a branch change available for the 2023 batch but from next year this will be removed. The exam is easy for the first year. The student ratio is about 1:4

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are many companies like Adobe IBM etc are providing internship opportunities in the college. There are clubs like GDSC(Google Developer Student Club) which will help in getting internships by actively taking part in GSOC

Placement Experience

After 6th semester the students are eligible for placements. But after fourth semester only many students are getting internship offers. Till now in 2023 highest package is 62 lakh and its still going .

Fees and Financial Aid

The semester fee is 62500 but in the first year you have to pay an extra 53000 as other charges a hostel fee is 12000 and the mess advance is 20000 and 2000 hostel maintenance charge in the first year you have to pay an extra 6000 has caution money in the hostel

Campus Life

The annual tech and cultural fest's name is Corona and Milange. In the library, there are all engineering books available you can issue that with your student id. There are all types of sports are played here. And there all types of clubs technical and non-technical are available for the students.

Hostel Facilities

For 1st year students there are two boys hostel Sone A and Sone B .There are all single double and triple sharing roms are available . Triple sharing rooms are much bigger and sufficient but double sharing are little compact and small but the cleanliness is the problem

Hostel Fee: INR 24000 per year

Admission

Pass the JEE main exam with a percentile above 95 for the general category to get admission to the civil branch. There is a home state as well as caste reservation available. For Sc above 95 percentile in jee main for CSE branch

The Campus placements are quite good. Almost 50 percentage of students get placed but most of the students dont not have plans on accepting placements they either have their own plans or choose to go for Masters degree. Average package is around 1300000.

Placement Experience:

The current scenario of placements are not quite good . But in electrical engineering it is a little good .Previously except 2-3 students all students were placed successfully from our department.One best thing about NIT-Patna's placement is that it doesn't allows companies to aquire students who offers a placement of less than 6 lakh.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students starts their internship and sitting in placement opportunities heighest package is approximately 1.5 crore and lowest packages 6 lakh. Here 60 to 70% students is most probably placed.

A short review about NIT Patna

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is decsent comparaing to other institutes . Every nigger companies comes and recruits the students with descent packages and in some case with extraodrinary CTCs . Basically there is mass recruitment in Civil and mechanical branches . Also the IT recruiters give chances and packages to lots of eligible student irrespective their branches .

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placement from the 3rd year onwards and till completion of 4th and last year.The students are also eligible for the interships offers from 3rd year onwards. Various companies visited in our college including GOOGLE,AMAZON,JP MORGAN,FLIPKARK,SAMSUNG,NVIDIEA,ORACLE,INFOSYSand many more and are offering 2-3 job offers per student . The highest package in our college this year is 27 lakh ctc from samsung.7 students are able grab this mighty oppurtunities and are companies are still visting for hiring. The average placement of the students are nearly Rs 6 lakh CTC. The percentage placement is nearly 100% in our college except for some braches like civil and mechanical where the placement percentage are nearly 80-85%. My plan is to go for UPSC exam after getting degree from this college.

Nit patna review from first year student.

I do councelling via jossa so there is float , slide , freeze option no rejection are possible. I choose nit patna as it is best college according to the rank the current political scenario. There is lot of good college rather than nit patna but I choose it as it in come in tier 2 college and far better than other low grade colleges.
