Remarks
First of all, talking about eligibility criteria: Students must have passed 12 with at least 50% in English and 60% in PCM or PCB. Register yourself on the rtmnu website, Then fill up the application form and submit your choice of college, Pay the application fee of Rs. 100/-. Wait for the merit list. This was the final process of the online admission form.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose B.Sc physics because I wanted to study detailed topics in physics. Further talking about college, I really liked the atmosphere in college. The teachers are highly qualified and are really helpful. The way of teaching is excellent. All exams are conducted timely. And difficulty level is moderate.
Placement Experience
According to my knowledge students are offered campus placements in their final year. Students get an average package of about 3.5 to 4 lacs but to the best of my knowledge. My plan after getting a B.Sc degree is to pursue an M.Sc course.
Fees and Financial Aid
Govt. Institute of Science is an autonomous college but still it has fees of 4133 Rs. for reserved categories and Rs 6358 for general categories. It also gives scholarships. The college has campus placements with an average package of 3.5 lacs.
Campus Life
The social life in college is the best ever I have experienced. The college held its annual fest in the month of January every year namely ' UMANG FESTIVAL'. The library has a huge library with plenty of books, journals, and novels. It has highly technofied rooms with all the latest technology with projectors and screens with ventilated rooms. And in college groups like NSS and LACF are run by students under the guidance of teacher.
