Likes

The placement was quite good and the salary package was also reasonable
College campus was well developing and so much improved in 3 years
The parking area is quite good for the transport parking

Dislikes

The college Library must be improved well
The college canteen price for food is too high for a student to pay

Course Curriculum Overview

The reason I chose b.com was it was in fame during 2015 and has so much potential so I chose b.com. faculty members are all well educated (doctorate) and professional teaching. Regarding the exams 1st level is the revision exam 2nd level is the model exam 3rd level Is the semester exam. It's quite easy to pass all the exams.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 13500 per year

Internships Opportunities

The students have to search outside the college for internships the college doesn't provide internships for the evening batch. For some courses related to science in the morning college will provide an internship.

Placement Experience

From 6th semester students become capable of placements. Companies visited during placements: Ford, fitkids, TVs, TCS, etc the package they offered was a minimum of 15000 and a maximum of 22000. The percentage of students getting placed is 100. My plan after getting my degree was to pursue higher education.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure during 2015 was quite reasonable it was 13000 when I started and later during 2018, the semester fees were 15000, and 2000 got hiked. They provided scholarships to financially struggling students who didn't have proper family support. All the companies that came for the campus drive are well-known and international companies, the starting pay CTC was 18000, the stipend was 5000.

Campus Life

There was a frequent number of workshops in a semester, monthly 1 workshop. Our college Library has an average number of books for all the courses but it's difficult to get is during exam times. There are not many amenities in class, a classroom consists of lengthy benches and lengthy chairs, a fan and tube light, and a blackboard. There are so many opportunities for sports and extracurricular activities.

Admission

It is a very normal admission process in 2015, I just saw the college application available on the official college website, everything regarding the available courses and the time when the application starts and the end time. So through that official college website, I saw the openings and went directly to the college, bought an application form for Rs200 filled it, the cut-off for my course (B.com) was 60% my cut-off was higher than the cut-off and I paid my fees and got in.

Likes

the college also organizes technical events, workshops, seminar, cultural, festivals and placement training programs with helps students enhance their practical knowledge
the campus has a diverse student community with a healthy and inclusive atmosphere.
the aspects I liked the most were support faculty, disciplined campus environment.

Dislikes

placement opportunities may be stronger for certain branches and others
Wi-Fi connectivity can be inconsistent in some area in the campus

A good college with supporting faculties and positive environment

Commerce cours has an entire building as we have five division in B.Com itself.
Seminars and industry people are called to guide us for placements and what all add ons do we need to learn to get a corporate job.
Our fests is too good as otherwise college gate closed at 5pm but during fests it last till 10 pm.

Dislikes

Dress code which is very wierd both for boys and girls.

Placement Experience:

P&G, Deloitte, KPMG, INTEL and many others have started taking interest in B.Com students as well. Placements though our of 400 it is still around like 100 odd students get placed from campus and with a salary of 30-40k around.

An Insight into JBAS Campus Life

To enroll in any stream provided by the college, the candidate must have senior higher secondary qualification or 12th passed. The admission form can be availed from the college portal after which the college contacts students for a direct interview and admission processing. The fee structure varies depending on the stream chosen by the candidate. It costs an average of 9k-12k per year. The college begins admissions following 12th board announcements, roughly from the month of May to June. The admission process is quite smooth except for proper instructions regarding admission interview.
