Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this course because they are good options and have great prospects for your future career. Faculty of Methodist engineering college have great knowledge and experience and most of them completed their Ph. D. degree from well known institutions. Faculty members are very helpful in internship and placements and the student ratio is 20:1 It is not tough. But you have to keep your performance consistent through all the semesters

Internships Opportunities

4.5

TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, IBM, Accenture, Ugam Solutions, Hexaware, etc. Around 20% of students get internships in small companies. Roles offered in our course are data analyst and software engineer. Creating and presenting a new marketing campaign

Placement Experience

4

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. The companies visited are like TCS ,HCL, Infosys, Amazon, and Byju's. The number of students placed are 123. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA Around 60% of students get placed. My plan after the degree is about to to masters in abroad.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee of Methodist engineering college in your first year will be almost 80000.TS E-pass scholarship for students of Telangana. I have seen, getting a decent placement (both profile wise and package wise) is not a difficult thing for a student having a CGPA above 7.5

Campus Life

4

Metheric Utsav 2015 Technical cum Cultural Fest in month of March. Approx 10000 books, back volumes, 30 national and international journals, technical pamphlets, Video Cassettes, e-books etc.The classrooms are fully ventilated, with smart boards Our college provides indoor stadium with 2 badminton courts, 2 volleyball courts (not synthetic), 1 basket ball court.Extra curriculum activities are much more. Before that you need to join in the club which you are interested like Literature and debating club, painting club and film club etc. There are no such clubs in our college.

Admission

For to get the seat in the college you should write the exam conducted by the eamcet and you should get the rank in top 1% The application form will be found in the nta website and the application fee is 500 and the dates will be at the end of the year maximum in the December if you have the reservation then you will get the seat even after getting a some lower rank The improvement I want is to remove the reservations

In convener qouta so i have no chance to choose branch or college . If i have a chance to change college defintly i will .In this college first the mindset of the founder, director should change from school pattern to college pattern and they should focus on college implementation not in students personal issues .The exams will happen after every 4 months in between 2 months internals will be conducted.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good as of now. But can change a little bit becuase in 4 years we will have 8 sems and 40 subjects. Subjects should be divided in such a way that it should not get burden on the students. In some sems they will just 4 or 3 subjects that will effect other sems by having 7or 8 subjects at a time. That is really tough to clear all subjects at a time that may leave pressure on the students. And another suggestion in teaching methods was therotical class and practical class has to be done parallelly because if theory classes of particular topic has been completed in this week and pratical classes of that particular topic will be executed in some other week lab sessions. That may create confusion in students and there might get forgot what they have learnt in that week. If the theory and practical classes happened parallely they will gain hands on experience on how the things will work and they can understand more better.
